Izuku POV

I've been here for what I can say is four weeks. I've been waiting for the heroes to come but they never did. Did they give up on me? No, they just can't find me is all, I think.

They also gave me more food each day, along with some sort of drug. I hate that part. They inject me with some sort of liquid that they say helps with my headaches. While it does help, I don't know if I can still trust them.

They've started hurting me less and less. They only do it when I try to hurt them or fight back. Which I haven't been doing to be able to gain their trust. I needed to do this to be able to leave. Since my quirk wasn't as powerful at the moment, it was the only option I had.

I hear the door creak open as I see someone walk in. "Cmon, you're to train today". By the voice, I can tell it's the villain Dabi. Why would he want me to regain my strength? Or is this just to tire me out? Either way, I am excited to finally be able to examine my surroundings so I can create a plan to escape.

He unlocks the chain from the wall and along with the handcuffs. Now would be my perfect chance to escape. Though, at my current condition, I don't know how far I would be able to get.

"Try anything and you'll know what'll happen," He says walking out of the room.

I follow him to the door. It was wooden and had to be unlocked with a key.

We then enter a dark room again, great.

"I know what you're planning, You're looking around the room. There are no windows in here, that's what the darkness is from obviously."

Shoot. "What do you even want from me? No one at UA would help you, and the pros will eventually find me." I say trying not to stutter. I can't appear nervous, which would give them confidence.

"I don't know, Hand Face doesn't talk much about his plans, just tells us what to do and the outcome of it," Dabi replies. "Plus, you don't need to know anyways, now shoo". He then pushes me to the ground and shuts the door.

"ouch," I hit the ground with a thud. As I get up I hear the door lock and began to look around for it. I shouldn't have let my guard down, now I'm stuck another room once again. Though at least this time I wasn't chained.

At least I thought I had an advantage. While searching for the door, I hear creaks in the flooring. It sounded like something large and big that was heading towards me. What was that? I flinch at the sounds. What was happening? Why did he-

Before I could finish my thoughts, I felt a large punch to the face that sends me flying back into the ground. I grid my teeth, that hurt. I could recognize the creature though. the large fist, lots of strength...

Nomu.

I try to activate my quirk but to no avail. I could only use about 1 percent without majorly tiring myself out. So, I do the next best thing, dodge.

Nomu are fast, so that was a challenge, especially since I could barely see well. The only way I could see is when One for All was flashing. When I couldn't see anything, I was hit by the Nomu. I used the techniques Gran Torino had taught me, but it was eventually tiring me out.  I needed to come up with a plan to escape. My best idea was to try to break the door with as much power I had left in my body. I knew it was wooden, so it would be simpler to break.

As I jumped from wall to wall, lighting up the room using One for All, I spotted it. A wooden door with a metal lock attached to it. Luckily, the lock didn't look too sturdy either.

As I jumped off the ceiling I began to use as much power as I could.

"ONE FOR ALL 5 PERCENT!"

I thrust my leg at the door, smashing a giant hole right through the center of it. I could feel all the scrapes and splinters along my legs and arms, but I had gotten out.

I then remembered there was a Nomu and got up to run. I was running on pure adrenaline right now. What I foolishly didn't realize is that I could see now.

I just didn't notice anyone was near me until I felt a familiar Four fingers wrap around my neck, stopping me dead in my tracks.

"That was good, but not good enough."
