Math class dragged on without her phone. She doesn't even go on it but still the thought of not having it made time crawl.

Even Gabe pestering her about wanting to marry Wade didn't feel the same without her phone in her right back pocket.

Being the only brain cell at her table didn't help either. Both Gabi and Destanee were both on drugs and Caitlin complained the whole time. They got no work done.

It finally hit 3:00 and Kelsey jumped out of her seat and went to the teacher. "Can I go so I can get my violin?" She asked, knowing damn well she wasn't going to get her violin. She doesn't even practice.

The teacher nodded and she left the class with all of her stuff. She put it in the locker and got out her backpack, coat, and headphones before making her way to Jack's locker.

Normally in the hall, she would look at her phone as she waited for the class to get out but she didn't have it so she stood there. Awkwardly.

Jack's class finally got out and she went over to him.

"Where's my phone?" She questioned and held her hand out.

Jack ignored her.

"You said you would give me my phone back after 8th hour and it's after 8th hour." She pried.

Jack got all of his stuff he needed out of his locker then closed it before heading down the hallway.

"Dude. I'm serious! Give my phone back!" She said, getting mad now.

"Fine, fine." Jack said and stopped walking, pulling her phone out of his pocket.

Kelsey reached at him for her phone.

'Now is the perfect moment.' Thought Jack as he leaned forward and kissed Kelsey as she was coming for her phone.

Kelsey froze and blinked rapidly, unable to process what had just happened. She didn't know whether she should pursue the phone or ask what that was.

"Really? Right in front of my salad?" Sharrard said in annoyance as he went into his room.

Jack smiled triumphantly and tossed Kelsey her phone before turning and walking down the hall.

Kelsey just barely caught the phone and began speed walking over to him.

"Uh sir? What was that? She asked, referring to the kiss.

"What was what?" Jack asked, acting clueless.

"You know what I'm talking about." Kelsey said and grabbed his shoulder to stop him.

"I have no clue what you're referring to." He said and shrugged.

"That kiss back there. What was that?" She asked, getting specific.

"You kissed someone? I can't believe you're cheating on me." Jack said and shook his head.

Kelsey groaned in frustration and turned around walking the other way. She needed to go to practice before she was late.

Jack smiled as she walked away. "Mission complete." He said to himself before walking out.
