Kelsey could not stop playing the event over and over in her head again. Jack had really just kissed her like that.

All through practice, she was distracted. She missed easy shots, dropped passes, and didn't understand instructions.

Sharrard, being there when it happened, clowned Kelsey the whole practice, exposing the situation to the whole team.

They all let out their little oOooOOooOoOoooO's and raised their eyebrows as Kelsey threatened to throw a basketball at their heads and curb stomp all of them.

She later went home and decided she wouldn't tell her siblings about it but the FIRST person she told was Lafay.

Kelsey and Lafay had a beautiful friendship. Either one of them could walk up to the other and just start throwing hands then 10 minutes later they could be walking out of dairy queen recalling memories from 4th grade.

That's how friends should be.

Lafay made Kelsey explain the whole situation and she did. In full caps. That's how you know shit just went down. They talked and Lafay hinted at how Jack could be trying to make the next move (if you know what I mean).

Kelsey shuddered at the thought. Yeah she liked Jack and all but not that much. Plus they were only 14 and that's the icky age.

That night, Kelsey couldn't possibly get to sleep. Her brain kept going over the scenario and changing bits of it for different outcomes. It was a mess of kisses and slaps and marriage. Her brain is definitely an odd place.

The next day, her plan was simple. She would avoid him as much as humanly possible and when and if they did have a conversation, she would definitely not bring yesterday's events up.

The day started out fine. She told TJ and Ryan about the whole thing and they made faces and stuff. First hour was over. Second hour she told Gabi and Destanee about it too. Andrew might've heard a word or two. Second hour over.

On her way to 3rd hour, she passed by Jack's locker. By chance, Jack happened to have been finished getting his stuff and was headed to his 3rd hour. Personal fitness. Going in the same direction as Kelsey.

They walked side by side in silence for a few paces before Jack spoke up.

"How was your practice yesterday?" He asked

Kelsey looked over at him with a slight glare.

"I couldn't focus." She mumbled, annoyed.

"Why was that?" He asked, knowing exactly what the answer was.

"You know damn well why I was distracted now until you own up and explain what the hell you did and why you did it don't talk to me or else I'll fuck you in the ass." Kelsey snapped before going her separate way and going to class.

Jack stopped, taken aback by Kelsey's words. "Damn.... That's hot." He said before heading to class himself
