A/N i wrote this all today, on valentine's day happy valentine's day :) here's my grand return to this fanfiction book
It was 2 pm on Valentine's Day when Yoosung heard a knock on his door. He hoped it was Saeran, but he wasn't sure. They had planned to spend the day together but he was already 2 hours late. Yoosung was worried that he would get too nervous and not show up.
His worried were kind of justified, considering that Saeran had done that before. It happened on their first date, and Yoosung was waiting at the park that they planned to meet at. An hour passed and Saeran never showed up. Concerned, he called him. But, he didn't pick up. So, he called Saeyoung instead. It turned out that Saeran got so nervous that he stayed inside his room and didn't come out. Hearing this, Yoosung went over and tried to comfort him. It ended up being okay, but Yoosung realized that Saeran was going to need some time adjusting to a relationship. And he was ready to put in the work, he just didn't want him to be upset.
However, all of his doubts were pushed aside when he opened the door and saw Saeran standing there. He was wearing a light pink button-up shirt, tucked into black jeans. Additionally, he was holding a bouquet filled with all types of flowers of all types of colors."Hi" he greeted, kind of nervously and avoiding eye contact.
"Hi! Uh, you brought flowers!" Yoosung exclaimed and he was nervous too. It was their first Valentine's Day together.
"They're for you" Saeran, handing the bouquet to him. He took it and moments later, he took Saeran's hand too. He led them to the couch, a more comfortable area so they wouldn't just be standing in the doorway. Saeran seemed kind of shocked by his action, but not opposed to it.
When they sat down, Yoosung didn't let go of his hand. In fact, he moved closer to him. But, he didn't want to intrude on his personal space, so he made sure.
"Is this okay? If I sit with you like this?" he asked, trying to make eye contact. He noticed that Saeran was blushing and still wouldn't look him in the eyes.
"Yeah" Saeran answered, and then added, as if trying to show emotion, "Of course it is." He sank into Yoosung's touch, putting his head on his shoulder.
They were quiet, but enjoying the moment where no space was between them. Saeran still felt a little stiff and Yoosung didn't know what to do. He needed to make sure that he was really okay with this. He just wanted Saeran to know he was loved, and to not be so nervous all of the time. Of course, it was early stages and Saeran had been through a lot, but it pained Yoosung's heart to think that Saeran was uncomfortable with him.
He was just about to speak when Saeran opened his mouth first, "I'm really nervous." Hearing this, Yoosung felt a little better knowing that he was ok with sharing his feelings right now.
"I know" he replied, and when Saeran looked at him questionably, he quickly clarified, "No, not in a bad way! I've just been noticing things"
"Like what?" Saeran inquired. Oh no, he asked for examples. Yoosung hoped this didn't come out the wrong way.
"Like... how you're quiet sometimes, and how you sometimes show up late and...I can tell right now because you're avoiding looking at me" Yoosung explained.
"You caught me" Saeran chucked, resting his head back on Yoosung's shoulder. It was like a breath of fresh air to hear Saeran laugh. It filled Yoosung's heart up to the brim and all he could think about was how much he wanted to compliment him right now. He needed to share his emotions or else he'd explode.
"I really like you. And I'm not just saying that" he gushed.
"I really like you too." Saeran agreed, and Yoosung noticed that he had became less stiff. "I don't want you to be nervous when you're with me," Yoosung whispered. He wasn't usually serious, but he felt that this time, he had to be.
"I'm just scared" Saeran admitted, "I don't wanna lose you." His worries could not have been farther from the truth. Yoosung had never thought about leaving him. And he didn't think he ever would.
"You don't have to worry about that" Yoosung assured.
"But-" Saeran started.
"No," Yoosung interrupted and moved so he would look right at him. Saeran was blushing but tried to maintain eye contact. "I'm not leaving you" he finished.
"Why not?" Saeran wondered and looked away. There were so many answers to that question. A question that was easier to answer would be, "Why wouldn't he stay?"
So instead of explaining every little thing, he settled on something else, "Because...I think I might love you"
"What?" Saeran blurted.
"Is that okay?" Yoosung asked. He didn't want to scare him off by going too fast.
"Of-of course it is!" Saeran sputtered. Then, without warning, he wrapped his arms around Yoosung. "Happy Valentine's Day" he flirted, quickly, then pulled away.
"Happy Valentine's Day!" Yoosung smiled. He was happy that Saeran seemed happy. So, to make him even happier, he continued, "So, I bought some ice cream-"
"I'll go get it!" Saeran interrupted, immediately running to get it.
Yoosung laughed. He loved his boyfriend.A/N was this good oof
