Akemi's POV
I finally got assigned to something exciting. I've always wanted to visit the World of the Living, and now I get to go. As I ran through the Senkaimon, my hell butterfly flew next to me. Soon I appeared in the mysterious World of the Living. Compared to the Soul Society, it was pretty strange.
"Why hello there!" A man in a green and white stripped hat covering his eyes called, when I exited the portal. "You must be Akemi Iseri, 4th seat of the 11th company."
"Excuse me, but who are you?" I asked.
"Why I'm Kisuke Urahara, owner of the little candy shop over there." He said, smiling, while pointing towards the little shop. Then a tall man and two children came from the shop.
"Tessai, Jinta, Ururu, you're just in time to meet the new Soul Reaper in town, Akemi Iseri." Urahara exclaimed from behind his fan.
"Hello." Tessai said, along with the two kids, Jinta and Ururu.
"Allow me to give you your gigai and some Soul Candy." Urahara offered, before turning towards his shop, looks like he isn't going to take no as an answer. I nodded, and decided to follow him inside the little shop.
He soon appeared from a storage room, with me Soul Candy.
"You're gigai's back there." Urahara said, pointing in the storage closet. I nodded, and quickly went and got inside my gigai. I was now wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt that matched my blue hair.
"Thank you, and here you go." I paid him, and left to find my apartment for the next few months.
"Oh, and don't forget you start school at Karakura High, tomorrow. I groaned and waved goodbye.
It took me a while, but I eventually found me apartment, which was right across from the Kurosaki home. It looked as if nobody was home, I'll have to wait until tomorrow at school to meet him.
I unlocked my apartment, and entered. The walls were painted a light blue. There was a white couch, and a TV. A separate door lead to the bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen was connected to the living room. I have to admit it was a nice place.
My first day in the World of the Living was successful.
