Chapter 18: ready to go

We all woke up early on Saturday to get ready for the attack on hydra. Steve tossed me a duffle bag and a list of things I need to bring. Being me I didn't pack until last minute and sadly because of this I was in a rush. I quickly got my thing together including weapons and food and more.

Adam was joining us on this us on this mission too so I was glad I wasn't the only kid. He was wearing all black including a beanie. He looked really cute. Wait did I just say he looked cute! I mean he is really cute, do I have feeling for him?

All these thoughts entered my head and I finally came up with the decision that do in fact like him. I know he likes me because he makes it obvious.

I walked over to where Adam was standing. He saw me and a huge smile spread on his face. He then pulled out a black Beanie from behind his back.

" I brought this for you " he said handing me it

" thanks " I said grabbing it

I walked away from him to find a mirror. I walked down the hallway into the living room and walked up to the mirror. I placed the beanie on my head and positioned it to look cute. I all of the sudden felt a presence in the room. I looked into the mirror and saw the figure of a man. I screamed in excitement!

" Peter! " I screamed running to him.

He held his arms wide open as I ran into his grasp. I threw my arms over around his neck. He hugged me tight. Peter was like a big brother to me.

" what are you doing here? " I asked pulling my self away from his embrace.

" I'm going on the mission with you " he said.

" thats great! " I said.

" Hey Annabeth, we need to tell you something " yelled Tony from down stairs

Peter held his hand out for me to take witch I happily did. Together we made our way down to the kitchen . We entered the room and I made my way over to Adam, my hand was still firmly grasping peters.

Adam looked up at us. " sup "

" Adam this is- " I began but I got cut off by Adam

" what's up Peter " he said as he and Peter did the bro-hug.

" you two know each other? " I asked in confusion.

" yep, I'm an agent remember " said Adam " I meet all kind of superheroes "

" okay Annabeth, we need to tell you something " said Steve

" your going back to stark towers " said Clint

Sorry that chapter was short. I will try to update this book soon. Sorry I haven't in a while. I've had projects and test.
