I woke up from the sound of movement but because of the pitch black dark I couldnt see anything. I then felt something hit the side of my leg and when I looked down it was a tray of food. On the tray was some brown rice, chicken, green peas, and a juice box. I looked around to see if I could spot anything but I heard the slam of the door and I knew they left.

I didn't want to eat the food they gave me but I've been here for 3 day and I was starving. I began to take little bites of the chicken and soon found my self scarfing the meal down. As soon as I was done I threw the tray across the room till I heard a loud bang. I couldn't tell what time it was and I was bored out of my mind. When I got to hydra, I was expecting to be tortured into telling them things about shield but not one person has come in the last 3 days.

I sat their against the cold metal wall wishing to go home. I wanted to go home and see Tony on the couch drinking something that I wouldn't be able to pronounce. I wanted to see Bruce in the lab while Steve watched him clueless about what he was doing. I even wanted to do training with Clint and Natasha. I missed my friends Alivia and Emma. I missed the guys Chris, Chase, and Nick but mostly Chris.

I was peacefully remembering those good memories when the door swung open. Bright light came pouring into the room and I had to close my eyes. As soon as I opened my eyes, I jumped when I saw a guy wearing a uniform that said hydra on the back. He quickly grabbed my arm and yanked me out of the cold metal room.

The light was blinding at first when I was yanked out. But after a couple of minutes my eyes adjusted and I got a look at my surroundings. Every thing around me was metal and I was shocked to see some kids that were around my age or older.

I struggled against the guards who tightened their grip on my shoulders every time I tried to jerk away. I was finally pushed into a different room. Inside there was a wooden table in the middle of the room and two chairs on both sides.

The guard forcefully shoved me down hard into the chair and stood at my side. A man walked into the dark room and finally turned on a lamp that sat on the table and I got a good look at him. It was the red skull.

He sat down in the chair across from me and turned the lamp so the bright yellow light was in my face, as if I was telling a ghost story.

" So Annabeth! Tell me about your self! " he said with a smirk on his face. I didn't reply and saw anger fill his bloodshot eyes.

Then he spoke, but this time he spoke more sternly and looked straight into my eyes. " Tell me about your child hood. Where you were born?" When I didn't reply, he got impatient and stood up and got uncomfortably close to me. Suddenly I felt my cheek stinging and I realized he had just slapped me.

I finally spoke with a shaky voice trying not to cry. "I was born in the woods till S.H.I.E.L.D found me. They brought me back to to live with them." I said with my chin held high so it would look like as if I was brave, even though on the inside I was terrified.

The red skull smirked and slightly chuckled before he spoke. "You weren't born in the woods!" he said chuckling again "You were born here!" He held his arms out, showing me.

Shocked filled me and the first thing I thought was that I shouldn't believe him. "No!" I yelled. "That's not true!" I was trying to hold my tears back. It was hard. All I've ever known was a lie! I tried to avoid him by looking down.

He took my chin and lifted my head up so I was facing him. "I remember every detail of that day. Just as if it were yesterday...... The day you were stolen from Hydra."

Crying bounced off the metal walls as the baby was born. Hydra doctors took one good look at the new born baby.
