~Drew P.O.V.~

Me and Joliee walked out the locker room into the parking lot talking about the game. "Drew ?" I turned my head to Paris walking towards me.

"What you still doing here ?" I asks looking at her confused.

"I was um waiting on you." She fixed her cheer backpacks around her shoulders.

"Waiting on me for what ?" Joliee made a noise making me turn towards him. He nodded his head in a direction making me look where he was looking to see Courtney and some girl leaning on Courtney car.

"Good game." She told me making me break my attention from Courtney. "You did good tonight Drew." She looked down "I'll talk to you tomorrow." She started to walk away slowly.

"Okay." I told her watching her walk away. She turned around at me and gave me a half smile and kept walking.

"That was awkward." Joliee laughed. We started to walk to Courtney and her friend. "Wassup yall ?" Joliee smiled at them.

"Hey." They said in unison.

"Lexi this is Drew , Drew this is Lexi." Lexi smiled at me then looked at Joliee.

"Good game guys like that was the game of the year." Courtney smiled at us.

I chuckled. "Thanks."

"Yeah yall did good, especially you Mr.Quaterback." Lexi smiled at him.

"Oh so you was watching me ?" Joliee smirked.

"How could I not ?" Lexi chuckled.

"Yall need to get yall flirting asses on. Anyway we have to go." Courtney leaned off her car pulling out her keys from her pocket.

"Where yall going ?" I asks.

"Home." Courtney chuckled. "Where else ?"

"Can we come chill with yall ?" Joliee asks eyeing Lexi.

"I don't care." Courtney unlocked her car opening the drivers side door.

"Alright we'll be there later." I told them.

"Okay." They said in Unison as they got in the car. We started walking to my car.

We was at Courtney house chilling with them having a good time. "So Joliee where's your girlfriend ?" Lexi asks him.

"Home I guess." He shrugged chuckling.

"Well she's been calling you for the last hour." Lexi laughs handing him his phone. He mumbled under his breath walking in the kitchen.

"You been watching her call and you never said anything." Courtney laughed. Lexi shrugged and looked at me.

"Where's your girlfriend ?"

"At home." Lexi stared at me as if she was studying me then raised her eyebrow.

"I got a question." She smirked at me. I nodded my head for her to ask. "Why you cheating on your girl with Courtney ?"

"I just feel more of a connection with Courtney and I have more feelings for her." Lexi looked at me then at Courtney.

"I find that hard to believe because your still with Paris so you can't say you have more feelings for somebody else when you still in a relationship if you liked my girl like you say you would get out of the relationship and stop making ole girl Paris looking stupid and heartbroken." I looked at her then looked down.

"Lexi-"

"Girl no cause you know I'm right-"

"I can't get out of the relationship with her ?" They both looked back at me.

"Why not ?" Lexi asks.

"I just can't." I shrugged.

"Cause you don't the rumors to be true so you stay with Paris so nobody knows because people already have their suspicions." I shook my head and looked down.

Courtney looked at me with hurt eyes but quickly tried to hide it. Joliee walked back on the room and looked at that I was looking and looked at me confused. "What's wrong ?" He asks looking at everybody. We all shook our heads. "Y'all was just happy and now y'all look like y'all were just told bad news."

"Something like that." Lexi was looking at me. "I just told the truth of what was really going on in Drews head." Someone knocked on the door and Courtney got up to open it.

Joliee nudged me. "What happened?" He whispered to me. I shook my head looking down.

"Oh my god." Lexi jumped up and hugged a dude walking in the house. "What you doing here ?"

"It was hell boring in New Orleans without my people." He smiled giving them both hugs. He turned to us giving us a small nod. We gave him one back.

"Desean this is Drew and Joliee." Courtney introduced us not even bothering to look my way.

"Wassup." He gave us dap and looked at the girls. "Which one yours C ?" She shook her head.

"Neither." I felt my heart drop to the floor. I took a deep breath and put my head in my hands. "The one I actually wanted and had feelings for already had his mind made up it just took someone to call him out for him to admit it." Joliee tapped me but I just shook my head.

"You caught feelings ?" Desean asks her. She nodded. "You never catch feelings that's the first way to get played and hurt C."

"Yeah." She looked down.

"I can already tell you hurt." He pulled her in for a hug making me stand up.

"I'll talk to y'all tomorrow." I hurriedly grabbed my keys and started to leave out with Joliee not far behind me.

We got in the car and I just sat there. "You gon tell me what happened ?"

I sighed. "I said the truth."

"And what's the truth ?" I started the car and shook my head.

"What it shouldn't be."
