Rain is something that can be felt with your five senses. Scent, sound, sight, touch, and yes, even taste, although not recommended. It has an aesthetic and soothing effect from whichever side you look at it. The smell of petrichor, the cool water running down your skin, decending from the sky onto the foot-trodden road - how can one disagree?
People are slightly similar to a storm, don't you think (or is it vice-versa?) ? It can bring happiness to some, displeasure to others. Albeit the thunder and lightning may seem unpleasant, none of us are complete without a bit of bitterness and fear, no? The wind can be fierce and chilling. Yet, to those who feel unshared lonliness, doesn't it have a silver of comfort to it?
Who knows? After all, I am merely someone who enjoys the seasonal occurance with a good story and a steaming glass of milk.
