Chapter 32

"Why didn't you try and forget him, Yena? Why did you still cling onto him, even though he left you just like that?" Hyewon asks Yena out of nowhere, as they were strolling around, before buying the cake.

"I don't know... I tried to, but i can't. I often think about what he's doing. Is he happy,is he sad, or is he angry. Hoping that he'll go to me again one day, and tell me all about it. But that day never came, until i had enough, and started calling him on PD48." Yena flashes back to last year, when he left her. She was confused. When she tried to talk to him, he just went off. She tried again, and again, and still the same response. Thus, making her cry over him. She could've hated him, but she didn't. Or rather, she can't, for some unknown reason.

"I don't get this... love thing." Hyewon said, as she never has any experience of falling in love. There were 1 or 2 boys that tried to make a move on her, but she wasn't interested, so she rejected them.

"You'll experience it, one day." Yena said to her.

"I hope. But you know...." Hyewon takes a deep breath. "I think i did have a love interest."

"Oh really?? What kind of guy is it??" Yena asks Hyewon, as she shakes her shoulder.

"It's been a long time, though. He was kinda tall, taller than me, at least. He had a slim figure, pretty face. He once sat next to me at lunch in the cafeteria. But she was sitting with a girl, where they were talking about how good i look." Hyewon said in a 'sounds like sarcasm, but also sounds serious at the same time' voice.

"....are you joking right now?" Yena asks in a serious tone.

"I'm not. I'm saying this because i really had interest in Y/N, Yena. Even now." Hyewon said in a serious voice this time. Yena doesn't know what to say to her.

"....uh.... huh. You like him even now.... uh..." Yena's confused by the situation.

Hyewon who's currently watching Yena, lost it and laughs out loud.

"Ya! I'm joking! Don't take what i said too seriously!" She smacks Yena in the shoulder. Yena gets annoyed by her laugh.

"You should've been an actress." Yena said in an angry but cute tone.

"You're so cute." Hyewon pinches her cheeks. "I was only joking~. Or am i?" Yena then glared at Hyewon, making her chuckled.

"Okay, okay, sorry. Let me treat you to ice cream."

"Ya! I'm not a child!" Yena exclaims.

"So you don't want me to buy it?"

"I didn't say i don't want it!"

After a cone of ice cream, and a mile of more strolling, it was getting late, and they decided that it was time to buy the cake.

"Which cake would you like to buy, Yena?" Hyewon asks Yena as they stroll around the display, to look for the cake.
