"And Alex do you take Jay to be your wife," the pastor announced while I stared into Alex's eyes. "I do" Alex said quietly. "Alex would you like to read your vowels," the pastor whispered. As Alex got out a tiny pic of paper, he said into the mic, "Jay Marie Golden, I've been waiting 25 years to marry you, I promise I will always love you, cherish you, and be you husband. With this ring, I will be honored to be your husband." Alex slips the ring on my finger as I start to cry. "Jay do you take Alex to be your husband?" The pastor announces once again. "I do," I whispered. I started with my vowels "On this summer day, I'am marrying you. And I wouldn't have it any other way, I love you and that will never change. I promise to always be there by your side, and forever love you.
