Circle to the Rescue

Chapter 1:

Julian's P. O. V.

(Year 1968)

I have a toy panda. His name is Circle. He has a round head and round ears. Daddy brought it for me some time ago. It is one of the big big big toys Daddy had brought for me. I love Circle.

Nowadays I am staying in my grandma's house as Mummy said that she is going on a holiday to Greece. I don't understand why I can't stay at my house with Daddy. I left Circle at home. I'm so sad. I missed him very very much. I want to go back home to hug Circle and tell him "I love you".

"Ding dong!" The doorbell rang. I ran to open the door. I saw Mummy.

"Mummy!" I'm so happy to see Mummy again! I jumped up and down and she bent down to hug me.

"Jules, Mummy is back!" Mummy held my hands and led me towards the living room couch. We sat down together. Grandma came and hugged Mummy too. They talked for a while. Then, grandma said she is going to make tea for me and Mummy.

I pulled Mummy's hand excitedly. "Mummy, when are we going home?"

Chapter 2:

Julian's P. O. V.

Mummy frowned. "I can't bring you home today Jules, not yet. Mummy have a lot of things to unpack and sort out. Just stay here one more day with grandma, okay?"

"Why can't I go back home? I can help you take out everything from your bag." I begged Mummy.

Mummy sighed. She looked very sad. Did somebody scolded or hit her just now? Did I say anything wrong? Why does she looked so sad?

"Mummy, it's okay if you didn't bring me home today, I just missed Circle and Daddy." I gave her a hug and she hugged me back.

"Mummy will bring Circle to grandma's house for you tomorrow okay? I love you Jules." Mummy moved her hands up and down my back.

"Yeah I'll see Circle again! I love you too Mummy!" I grinned, hugging her tightly.

Mummy left after only talking with me and grandma for a while. I am so happy to see Circle again soon!

But I have a bad feeling. I tried to sleep at night but I couldn't sleep.

Chapter 3:

Third person P. O. V.

Cynthia entered her home. It was dark, and John did not come out to greet her. John had been ignoring her lately, and Cynthia suspected he had some kind of relationship with a girl named Yoko Ono. However, when she asked John about her, John told her that she is just a normal friend who wanted to have her art be more well known to people.

Cynthia heard a noise from the bedroom she shared with John. She walked closer to the room. The door was left ajar.

Cynthia knew that something must be going on. She plucked up the courage and pushed the door open.

There they were. John was sitting on the floor with Yoko and Yoko was wearing Cynthia's white bathrobe. They looked into each other's eyes, both of them seemed to be deep in thought. John looked up and saw Cynthia.

Before John even had the time to respond, Cynthia quickly left the room and went to Julian's room to pick up Circle. Cynthia left the house as quickly as possible.

Cynthia took a taxi and spend two nights at a friend's house, wondering how to tell Julian about the events that happened at home.
