The one where they go to breakfast

Today is the day I'm going out to breakfast with Shawn and Leo. Holy shit. I didn't tell Charlie about it because it's just two friends going out to breakfast with a baby. Granted I still really like Shawn but I'm in a happy relationship with Charlie. Shawn is coming at 9:30 and it's currently 9 and I'm trying to get ready but with a baby it's kinda hard. I throw on a loose white T-shirt with some gray leggings and my white converse. I leave my hair down and quickly put Leo in a plain black onesie with some matching gray sweatpants and tiny white converse. "Leo come here" I pat the ground and he comes crawling over to me on the couch, I lift him up and set him on my legs. Yes, he can walk now but sometimes he will crawl because it's faster. "Say mama" He shakes his head and grabs a toy from the bin and shoves it in his mouth. "Mama"

"Mmmmmaa" He says and shoves another toy in his mouth.

"Good Job!" I pepper his face with kisses making him giggle. I take him downstairs and into the living room where my dad is to play with him more. I play with him for a few more minutes until there's a knock on the door.

"Mmmaaaammmaaa" I pick him up and kiss his cheek as i'm standing up. I open the door fully expecting to see Shawn but instead standing there is Charlie. Fuck.

"Hey" I say with evident disappointment in my voice.

"Hi honey" He pecks my lips and comes inside. "Why are you dressed?"

"Hey Charlie"

"Hey Mark"

"I'm going out to breakfast" I say sitting down on the couch, I move Leo to where he's sitting on my lap playing with a lion toy.

"Oh with who?" Just then there was a soft knock on the door, speak of the devil. I quickly stand up and open the door revealing Shawn in black joggers, tennis shoes and a hoodie.

"Hey Shawn"

"Hey! And hi Leo, can you say Shawn?" He asks ruffling his hair.

"Dude he just said mama a couple minutes ago he won't be able to say Shawn."

"Mmmaaaammmaaa" He makes some gurgling noises and shoves the lion toy back in his mouth.

"Hey Shawn" He smiles at Shawn this time but he didn't when Charlie came in.

"Hey Mark"

"Why are you going out with Shawn?" Charlie says with anger evident in his voice.

"We are going out as friends with Leo" I kiss Leo's forehead as he's chewing the toy.

"Don't make any fucking moves on her. Do you understand?" Charlie says getting really close to shawn.

"Yes I do. We went through this already." Shawn says rolling his eyes.

"Cmon lets go Shawn. Bye dad love you!"

"Love you too honey" I grab Leo's bag and quickly leave the house pulling Charlie and Shawn out of it. I give Charlie a kiss and head toward Shawns car, Charlie gets in his car and smiles at me before leaving. I put Leo in the car seat Shawn has in back and get into the passenger seat.

"So where are you taking us?" I ask as he starts driving.

"To a diner I found a couple blocks away from here"

"Is it called the 11th street diner?"

"Nope it's called the Sunrise Diner"

"Seems nice"
