Mary: oh my- it's bigger on the inside!
Doctor: yes I get that a lot.
Mary: has technology advanced that much?
Doctor: ah well while the human technology is good and vastly improving I'm afraid it hasn't advanced to this level of technology yet. This is my TARDIS.
Mary: What is a TARDIS?
Doctor: It stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space.
Mary: you mean it can time travel and go through space?
Doctor: yes. Now where would you like to go?
Mary: you mean...I get to choose where I want to go?
Doctor: not only where but when also.
Mary: I...I want to go into the future...here on earth...I want to start out small.
Doctor: Alright....
*he presses some buttons and punched in the coordinates and pulled the lever*
Mary: what's that sound?
Doctor: that's the sound of the TARDIS dematerializing.
Doctor: oh but one more thing. Since we're landing in the future you're going to have to dress appropriately for the time period.
Mary: *kinda offended* is my outfit not good enough for you?
Doctor: no no you look lovely it's just that if we're going somewhere we're going to want to blend in as to not cause suspicion.
Mary: well I guess that makes sense.
Doctor: there's a closet just down the hall. You can change in there.
*Mary walks out of the console room to the closet. The TARDIS materializes and Mary comes out wearing a long sleeve white dress with flowers on it sticking to what she would be most comfortable in*
Mary: Is this good enough doctor?
Doctor: yes perfect and we just landed.
Mary: ohhh let me see please.
*she walks over towards the doors and opened them*
Mary: come look at where we are Doctor! We're in some kind of institution of sorts!
Doctor: yes and by the looks of it we're in the basement of a school.
Mary: this looks very different from the schools in my time.
Doctor: yes well we were brought here for a reason so let's go up and see what's going on.
*they go up the stairs and open up the door to reveal an abandoned hallway with lockers all in row*
Doctor: it seems as though either class is in session or school is out. There's not a student or teacher in sight!
Mary: well that door is open doctor maybe we can check in there and ask.
Doctor: good idea!
*they walked over to the open door. The Doctor knocked on the door just to be polite with Mary behind him. The kids and the teacher all turned to give them the coldest and most hateful glare*
Mr. Somerest: Can I help you two?
Mary: *whispering* oh dear doctor it seems as though we came in at a bad time.
*the doctor looked at the bored and it said 'today's history lesson is : the doctor '*
Doctor: that would be an understatement.
