The Big Secret

Akane busts out laughing really hard holding her gut while mother can only stare at me. Akane says through laughter "Ah come on little bro if you don't want to tell us then just say so." I sigh and say "I know what I am about to reveal to you is some thing hard to believe but even if you don't believe me this is something I must tell you only because you two are my family." Mother speaks "Argos to claim you are reincarnated and a demi-god no less is rediculas but i can't bring myself to dought you after what I saw during training."

She continues to speak "I can see how you could be a reincarnation of a veteran warrior but to call yourself a demi-god because of it is not a good thing the gods have already cursed us." Akane says "Mother what do you mean? Little bro what's going on?" I sigh and say "Let me tell you about myself and how I was reincarnated and please wait untill I am finished to ask anymore questions." They both agree they will wait untill I am done explaining.

I tell them about how I was a great conqueror in my previous life, and how I was at the pinnacle of human kind from my world. I say "I was on a battlefield during my last moments in my world before I found myself in a room with three gods. Their names are Jurgen the god of destruction, Astros the god of all elements and magic, then the god of life Michaela." I look at them both as they both have a serous expression and say "They chose me to be their champion to liberate the mortal races and drive back the demons and if I fail the gods will destroy the world." Mother slams her fist on the table smashing it to splinters once she hears the end. She yells "Then what the fuck has all this been for!? What was the meaning of John dieing!" Tears begin to stream down her cheeks as she remembers what happened during the demons attack three years ago.

Akane speaks "Little bro please tell me your lieing! No human even if you are reincarnated can stop the demons the gods have truly cursed us!" I look at both of them with a strong determination in my eye's and say "I will never let this world be destroyed! I will fight to my last dieing breath to protect my family." Akane speaks while trembling holding back from crying "You don't know the horrors of these demons Argos! These things can't be matched in open war we have tried!"

Mother wipes the tears from her eye's and says "Argos if even a little bit of what you say is true then I will personally help train you so that one day we can place our hope in you." I say "Thank you mother but i would like your permission to train along side big sis. I will help her grow to the fullest potential while also training this body to achieve my former glory. The only thing I need help training in is magic seeing as my old world did not have any."

Lisa thinks for a moment and then says "I will allow you to train your sister but you must train another three people of your choice." Akane speaks "What's the point mother no one can defeat the demon lords let alone the demon king." Mother hugs Akane tightly and says "If what your brother says is true then we must put our hope in his words. Even if he isn't a demi-god he is deffinatley reincarnated how else could he perform so well after just starting to hold a sword."

Akane hugs mother back and says "I hope your right mother that we can finally hope for a new life without fear." I walk over to them and hug them both saying "I will always protect my family I only need time to grow." After that we begin to train everyday in the training grounds. I teach my sister my swordsmanship from my previous life while on mother's days off she would teach me magic. I soon come to find out I can use two types of magic augmented and lightning magic. The augmented magic allows me to strengthen my body in both strength and speed. It reminded me of how we used ki in my previous world.

The lightning magic is quite hard to grasp, but eventually I can cast simple lightning spells like Lightning Bolt. Which makes lighting drop from the sky to strike a single target. One day while I am showing Akane how to gather ki a group of boys her age come over to us. The one that appears to be their leader steps forward and says "Akane why don't you come with us to have a little fun? I promise it will only hurt at first."

I goes to reach for Akane but before he can reach her I slap his hand with the flat part of my sword. He takes his hand back and yells "Damn little boy what the hell was that for! You have a death wish kid?" Once he says this Akane puts the tip of her sword against his throat and says "Theo if you ever threaten my little brother again I will slit your throat!" Theo laughs and motions for his friends to attack us.

I quickly augment myself so i wont hurt myself then burst forward knocking them all out before they could move. As I sheathe my sword Theo turns around and says "What the hell you waiting fo-" he can't complete his sentence as he is stunned from what is before him. Theo is panicking on and says "How the hell did you take down all twelve of them before we even saw what happened!?" I say "Sis mind knocking his teeth out for me?"

Theo runs away in a panic as he desperately flees out of the training grounds. Akane laughs and says "Thanks little bro although I could have taken care of those small fry." I smirk and say "I knew you could but we have training to do we can't waste to much time with those who will only waste our time." We get back to training. For a year we endured hellish training in we even spent four months in the mountains hunting demon beasts. With mothers supervision ofcourse. Both Akane and myself have become much stronger. I am now six years old as of today so I planned to spar with Akane.

I approach Akane and say "Hey sis you wanna spar with me to see how far we have gotten?" She immediately runs off saying "Give me a minute let me grab my gear!" Once she has her gear we head to the training grounds. I see a crowd at the entrance I think to myself "I wonder what the fuss is about." Akane is the first to speak "I am so excited for the tournament thanks for bringing me little bro!" I tell her "I didn't know today was a tournament but this should also prove beneficial to our training."

Akane smiles and says "Let go sign up!" as she pulls me forward to sign up." We reach the front and the man at the desk looks at us and says "Ahh yes your Lisa's children will you be participating miss?" Akane says "Yes but i would also like to enroll my brother Argos into the tournament." The man looks at me with a serious look in his eye and says "How old are you boy?" I say "I am six years old and I am confident in my skills. Mother has been training me in killing demon beasts and I would like to test my training."

The man sighs and says "I will let you participate if your mother says you can. I will send a message to your mother to get permission just step to the side and wait a bit." I nod and step to the side while Akane signs up for the tournament. Once she is done she joins me over at the side to wait with me. After a while she says "I hope you won't go easy on anyone in the tournament. We need to show them the strength you have so they have a small hope for the future." I say "I understand sister I will do my best in this tournament but if they are to weak I can't go all out." Mother walks over to us and says "Argos are you sure you want to enter the tournament?"

I say "Yes mother I wish to enter the tournament to use as training one can only get better if they are in a dire situation." She nods and says "I will only agree because I know you won't get killed." She turns and heads over to the desk to talk to the man. Akane can barely contain her excitement as she will be able to fight me without holding back. I can't help but smile at Akane's cheerful expression. Lisa comes back and says "Your signed up Argos have fun."
