Hours and hours had passed by until finally the sun came up once again, Eijirou had been in the waiting room all night, he didn't even truly realize when he fell asleep but he definitely realized when he woke up when his elbow that was being used to keep in place his arm for his head to rest on was shifted in his sleep and he fell straight forward to the ground. Normally, he would just brush it off but for some reason he felt as if all the emotions he had been suppressing, just spills over and he began to sob profusely, tears falling down a mile a minute, he felt sick.

Eijirou curled in a ball, hugging his shaking legs on the cold hospital tile as he bawled into his knees.

"Its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, its all my fault, IT'S ALL MY FAULT!"

Eijirou felt hands on him asking him and telling him things but he simply couldn't hear them, he couldn't hear anything over his rapid heartbeat and his deafening thoughts. He was rocking his body forward then backwards hastily. He remained in this state long enough for the people that tried to help him, left him alone to his thoughts, but suddenly a voice spoke that broke through the trance, it wasn't as familiar but it was distinct and unmistakable. A women spoke in a authoritative yet laced with fear tone, "Are you Kirishima Eijirou?"

Eijirou picked up his head that was once imbedded into his knee's, when he looked up with his bloodshot, puffy eyes into ones that resembled his own but more sharp. He saw a tall woman with light skin, familar spiky blond hair, and puffy red eyes. He then realized behind her was a man with light brown hair and glasses. Eijirou's mouth ajar, he knew he had to speak but he was breathless. His breath left his body for way longer then it should've, he had forgotten  how to breathe. Until finally he forced himself to speak, "...yes"

The woman dropped to her knees and threw her arms around him and squeezed harshly. "Huh?" Said Eijirou, surprised.

"It wasn't your fault, he knows that too." Said the women's voice, who Eijirou had already figured out was Katsuki's mother.

Eijirou was once again speechless, but the words she spoke helped him more then any other words could've. He began to cry again, but these tears were different. He noticed another pair of arms embrace him, most likely Katsuki's dad.

"I'ᴍ sᴏ sᴏʀʀʏ" whispered Eijirou as he leaned into the hug. A man's voice then responded, "It's okay, it wasn't your fault."

Eijirou felt drops of water fall on him, they must've been crying too. They stayed clustered together on the floor all in tears. It was silent, other then the sound of huffs of breath once they realize they haven't been breathing properly, the silence stretched out for an eternity until a voice called out, "Mrs and Mr Bakugou?"

The two older man and woman stood up and hastily ran over there as if in a state of emergency, nearly tripping on their way.

Eijirou stood up too and walked closer but not too close since he would be invading, just enough to hear what the nurse or whatever she was, would say.

"The surgery has been completed"

"AND?!?!" yelled Mitsuki.

"He made it."

The world became slow-motion as Eijirou heard screams of joy and the thumps of jumping up and down, his mouth to the the floor and his eyes wide once more. 'He made it.'

Mitsuki and Masaru were about to be led to Katsuki until Mitsuki turned around and signaled Eijirou to come over, Eijirou gladly skipped to her side. The nurse then deadpanned, "Family only."

Eijirou began to retreat until he felt a hand on his shoulder stop him, and heard Mitsuki say, "Don't worry, he is." Then she dragged him back next to him and continued to walk. Eijirou then heard a phrase just above a whisper from Mitsuki say, "Sooner or later."  Eijirou looked up with his jaw for the millionth time to the floor but now wearing a newfound blush to see a devious smirking Mitsuki.

Then they reached it, the door, the goddamn portal to a land of Katsuki, okay maybe Eijirou was a little sleep deprived but that was besides the point; Bakugou Katsuki was okay, and that's all that truly mattered to him. He felt himself gulp as the nurse opened the door slowly, for some reason that made his eyes close, as if seeing Katsuki in this state was too much to bare for him.

Eventually he let his curiosity get the best of him and opened his eyes to see him, and dear god did it hurt him. He saw the countless wires or tubes connected to him and the stitching on his chest as well as the cuts and bruises all over. And not to forget his emotionless dull face. He wanted to say it wasn't his fault and that he was being forced to hurt him, but it was still his body that caused this.

The feeling of pain seeing him in this state stung him like no other but he was so relieved, scratch that, beyond relieved to know that Katsuki is still holding on to life and will live to kick villain ass another day.
