All we can do is wait

Eijirou and the Bakugou parents obviously weren't able to help so they headed to the seats on the side to wait for him to wake up, so at first they all just sat there uncomfortably; that was until Mitsuki just blurted out "So Kirishima, how did you and the brat become friends?"

'Brat?' Eijirou thought, almost snickering aloud. "Well I doubt he'd call us friends but we got closer during the tournament. We were on the same team because my quirk works well with his explosions because they can't hurt me. After that I just bothered him enough for him to start to hang out with me. When he was being taken away... I couldn't help at all so when we found out that Momo had a tracking device, I started getting people to join me in the whole getting Bakugou back. Weirdly they said I was the only one who could do it though, Midoriya said somethin like we were equals. After that we kinda just stuck together more; we started  training more, and he also tutored me every now and again, he pretends to hate it but I know that if he did he wouldn't be there, We also just hang out in general now. Also way before Kamino, Bakugou invited me to I-island and we got matchin' suits n' everything. He even let me share a room with him. I can tell that he's slowly starting to make friends with some of Class 1A but right now he only really talks to me... but technically I've been gone so maybe he made new friends-" He starts shaking his hands in defense. "-I'm ranting huh? My bad."

Mitsuki has been smiling through it all, "No don't apologize hon, your fine. Didn't expect something as sweet as you to care that much about someone like him."

Eijirou laughs awkwardly and say's "He's actually not a bad guy, he just likes to act that way to push people away but I know if he hated me, he wouldn't let me hang around him. He's can be thoughtful sometimes, it's pretty manly." Eijirou begins to smile to himself looking at the floor thoughtfully.

Out of no where, Mitsuki starts to giggle and then it transforms to a boisterous laugh. Eijirou turns his hand and looks at her questioningly "Huh?".

Mitsuki loos down to him and smiles softly, "Nothing, just figured something out." She then looks at Masaru who had also been smiling apparently. He wanted to know what they magically figured out but he didn't want to pry, so he left it. 'Huh, that's weird.'

Mitsuki then looks at Masaru and smiles, then looks at Eijirou in the eyes and says, "Y'know, you should come over for dinner at some point, we'd love to cook for you."

Eijirou looks at her, puzzled;"...Why don't you guys hate me or somethin. Shouldn't you?"

Mitsuki and Masaru are wide-eyed, both not speaking, then suddenly bursting out in laughter. "Why would we hate you dear? Your a good kid and you aren't the one that hurt him. We can tell you care about him and he clearly did too. So of course we would want you to come over for dinner sometime you cute little idiot." Says Mitsuki in between laughs.

'Cute little idiot?!?'

Masaru then looks at Eijirou and smiles softly; "Your probably the best influence to him yet, but you're right, he is a good kid behind his rebellious and angsty facade. So thank you for being a real friend to him when most people can't or won't."

Eijirou feels his cheeks burn, he had just been complimented sincerely by Katsuki's parents! He instinctively raises his hand to the back of his neck and chuckles awkwardly. "It's nothing really hahah, I just like being around him."

Mitsuki and Masaru then share once again a soft knowing look at each other with small smirks never ceasing on their faces. Eijirou is now absurdly curious to what they are smirking about... 'They don't think I have a crush on him right??? Wait no way, I'm super slick about it. Yeah there's no way...'
