"One time for the birthday bitch! Two times for the birthday bitch!!! fuck it up." Storm yelled gassing me up as I finished doing my makeup. Looking back at her I shook my head.
"Hush you lucky I'm even going out." I said rolling my eyes. All I honestly wanted to do for my 18th birthday was stay home and cuddle with baby storm but no my family insisted on a big ass family dinner plus Rain.
"Are you nervous to see Skai?" I asked looking at Rain as she shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I'm still a little upset at the things she said. But I do know when I found out she was in a car accident I cried for nights. She's my bestfriend I don't wish nothing bad on her but I don't like the way she treated me or you." Rain said as I nodded my head.
"I feel you. But me personally I forgave her. Life is too short to hold grudges. Plus she knows what she did and she's paying for it believe me." I told her and Rain nodded her head. "I'm going off her vibe. I'll forgive but I definitely won't forget." Rain said as I nodded my head.
"Yo Gigi, ma said you ready?" Gio said walking in my room holding baby Storm. "Oh I didn't know you were here." He said looking at Rain. "Knock next time. I'm coming down." I said pushing Gio out the room.
"You didn't have to do that." Rain said as I rolled my eyes. "No he just doesn't respect boundaries. I could have been butt ass naked." I said sliding on my heels. "And plus you don't owe him no damn explanation." I told her as I stood in the mirror looking at myself. "Ready?" I asked and she nodded her head yes.
"Hell no. That dress too fucking short." My father said as I made my way downstairs. "Leave her alone Gionni! She's 18 let her breath." My mother said sounding annoyed.
"Until another fucking grandkid come out. Hey Storm." He said as my mother elbowed him. "Ignore your father. You look beautiful Gigi and Gio we love Storm." My mother said as she put her caught on.
"Now let's go we're going to be late." She said as she walked out the house. "Everyone driving with us. We're taking the sprinter." My mom said.
"Mommy are we rich?" Dior said. "No." My mother said as Gio sucked his teeth. "Yes we are rich." Gio said correcting my mother. "Nigga ain't shit rich about ya! Me and your mother are Finacial stable. Ya kids are broke ass freeloaders." Our father said as I shook my head rolling my eyes.
"Gio where's the baby hat? What the fuck is wrong with you." My mother said causing me and Rain to laugh. "My relax she has a good." Gio said as my mother just eyed him.
Feeling my phone buzz I noticed it was an instagram notification. "Oh Kenzie just told me Happy birthday." I said out loud. "Oh tell her we miss her." My father said as I nodded my head.
"Yo wheres Kristin? I just realized she missing." Gio said as I shrugged my shoulders. "She went out with Pop." I said annoyed with her. Out of all days she decided to go out with a nigga who obviously doesn't care for her. Even though I said I didn't want to go out for my birthday I still expected her to be apart of this family dinner.
"I'll dead beat his ass." Gio said as my father sucked his teeth. "Nigga you never been in a fight." My dad said shutting him up.
————————- "Aye don't be giving my lady no rose!" Uncle Troy said as we all sat down. There was roses on all the ladies seats thanks to my father. "Nigga that's my sister shut the fuck up." My dad said causing us all to laugh.
"Thank you my ugly ass husband didn't even get my no fucking flowers. And I pushed out three of his bad ass kids." Auntie Seven said grilling uncle Troy.
"Man fuck all dat. Gia really 18. all these little niggas really grown G! We need some more kids." Uncle Troy said standing up holding up his glass. "Nigga fuck no! We done over here. Family complete." My father said.
"Period grand baby and all." My mother added. "Nah ya niggas are ghetto. I bet money ya gon be one of them families with the niece older than the aunt or uncle." Uncle Troy said as my parents just stuck the middle finger up.
"Alright alright stop talking about my baby." Gio said. "Nigga shut up. Always in ya feelings." Troy said as everyone laughed.
Looking over I noticed Skai and Rain laughing which caused me to smile. Honestly Rain was annoying. I fucked with her. Loved her as a sister but I wasn't you average girl who liked to be with my friends 24/7 and that's how Rain and Skai were so I'm glad they made up.
"You think I have a shot with here still?" Gio whispered in my ear as I looked at him. "Nigga what." I asked as he told me to lower my voice. "I brought her a promise ring. Plan on giving it to her tonight but only if you think she'll except it." He said causing me to laugh.
"I don't know Gio. We don't talk about you when we're together. What's the worst that can happen? She dub you because you dogged her out." I told him and he got quiet.
"I'll be taking your orders." The waiter said as I looked around smiling at my family finally getting alone with one another. Best birthday ever.
