"Hell no. Hell fucking no. That's too much fucking makeup. That wig? Too much. You don't look no damn 16." My father ranted on as my mother sucked her teeth.
"Troy she looks fine." She said backing me up as he shook his head. "Nah I don't like it. That dress is too revealing as well. To much boobs." He said.
"Dad I barely have boobs." I said as he shook his head. "What time are the reservations?" I asked changing the topic.
"8 which is why we need to leave now." My mother said grabbing her purse. "Where's Tristan?" I asked as my dad picked up the car seat.
"He's meeting us there now let's go." My mother said as we walked out the house. Stumbling my father started laughing. "Want to be so grown and can't even walk in them shits." He said causing me to roll my eyes.
Checking my phone I had nonifications from Instagram of people telling me happy birthday and what not. Responding to a few a started taking pictures. "I hope everyone followed the color scheme and wearing blue." I said locking my phone.
"Skai wake up nigga." I heard my dad. Opening my eyes it was no dark outside. "What time is it." I asked getting out the car fixing my dress. "Let's go I'm hungry." My father said ignoring my previous question. I don't know why he has this attitude with me since we left but he didn't have to come to be honest.
"Why are we going through the back entrance?" I asked as he looked back at me. "I'm a celebrity we gotta be lowkey." He said causing me to laugh.
"Your Dave East bestfriend. No celebrity." I said as he stopped dead in his tracks. "I can't stand your little ass. Fucking hater moe." He said causing me to laugh more. "Love you." I said as he waved me off and knocked on the back door.
"Go." He said holding the door open for me. "SURPISE!" I heard causing me to look up and seeing all my close friends and family pointing cameras at me as I looked back at my dad holding in my tears. "You— you said no party." I whispered as he laughed pulling my into a hug.
"Happy birthday babygirl." He said as I hugged him back feeling my tears drop. "My nigga I know you not crying." He said wiping my tears as I nodded my head. "Stop you deserved this party now go enjoy yourself." He said as I nodded my head making my way towards Rain.
"You sneaky bitch!" I said as she started laughing shrugging her shoulders. "What it was a surprise." She said as I rolled my eyes. "You could have warned me!" I said.
"That would have taken away from the surprise." She said as I nodded my head giving her a hug. "This place is decorated nicely." I said looking around. "Yea Ik your mother had us in here since this morning decorating even Kenny!" She said causing my eyes to get big.
"Speaking of Kenny where is he?" I asked as she shrugged her shoulders. "Well I'm gonna go look for him." I said before walking.
