Monday afternoon she stepped in the room her eyes immediately landing on him. His hands moved swiftly on the keyboard. For a moment he stopped lifting his eyes.. He looked at her, catching her already looking at him ,a ghost smile forming on his lips. She quickly averted her eyes and went to take a sit. She sat there watching him from a distance.

She didn't realize that he too was also watching her at the corner of his eyes. He wondered how she could sit there lifeless.. With a cap shielding her from the world.

She sat there drowning in her own thoughts.. Muting the voices that surrounded her,but no one understood that.

They didn't understand her. She sat there on a rusty chair that portrayed little emotion staring at the black haired, honey brown eyes boy.

He remained seated, his eyes glued to the screen of his laptop, his fingers dancing along the keyboard. she barely noticed the stares going her way.. She didn't care anymore.

But he cared thou.. He cared too much. He cared

...........................................

He saw her.. Sitting alone on a bench under the shades of the holy tree, she wore the same cap as the last time he saw her, but now, her face features were visible.. Without thinking his legs moved on their own making their way towards her. the mysterious lonely girl.

A strange emotion flickered between her eyes, watching the honey brown eyed boy making his way towards her.

She wanted to stand up and run, wishing the ground could swallow her up. He approached her, a ghost smile visible in his face. He sat down opposite her, not taking his eyes off her.

The same spark returned, feeling as if the world stopped and someone knocked out the air around them. She shifted in her seat and turned to look away.

Waves of emotions and thoughts. Collided within him, surprised at himself for not being able to voice out his thoughts. He sat looking at her, both waiting for the drama rehearsals to take place.

He needed to hear her voice, he needed to say something to her, gathering up the courage. He cleared his throat, hoping she'll turn to look at him, clearing his throat again. This time she turned her head looking at him, confusion written over her face..

"Hey" She said. "You Okay"?

Surprised was written on his face, after all the mysterious lonely girl does indeed have a voice.

"Uhh yess.. I'm okay..Thank you" He was staring at her like he's never seen anything like her before, she was natural, not like these girls who wear make-up and have plastic hair, she had her own short hair underneath the cap,she was breathtakingly beautiful..a rare breed.. diamond in the rough and that's hard to find.

She was staring at him all, like he had grown horns or something, but he he was  handsome too, more handsome than any guy she's ever met,he was different, his lips..fuck his lips..She found herself longing to touch the boys face ,her eyes would never move from him. He was the only thing that could set alight the spark inside of her...the spark that would soon fade away when she returns to reality.

The reality that he would never notice her..Her reality seemed different to his reality. Her dark brown eyes and black hair contrasted his honey brown eyes and brown hair. Her eyes were lifeless at first glance, but he glared enough times to see life in them. The life that was once apparent for all to see, but had now withered down to a star in the sky.

His eyes held emotion, she couldn't decipher on what emotion he held .But she didn't need to,She knew that not everything in life is black and white. And some things could be grey and she was okay with that. And so was he.

He sat there wishing he could put light in her eyes, wishing he could grab her and hold her. He didn't understand the feeling this mysterious lonely girl evoked in him

This was their beginning of the end to their journey of love.
