Tom sat with Lizzie on the living room, each of them munching on their foods. Lizzie had her feet across Tom's lap, with him caressing it gently. "You know, you should cook for me more often. I get tired of Chinese food takeouts." Said Tom, with his mouth full.
Lizzie let out a wheeze, collecting their empty plate and put it on the sink. "Maybe I could teach you how to cook instead. So you don't have to order food every day, every night." She loaded the plates to the dishwasher and turning it on. Then she plopped down beside him again.
"Maybe." He replied. Lizzie stares at her best friend, ex lover, and the man she grew up with. "Tommy." He looked at her, blankly. "Come 'ere." She extend her arms, ready to embrace him.
Tom scoot closer to her, seemed to gladly accept the affection she offered. "Don't risk your healthiness and good life because of her. Tommy, I know you. You are strong and independent."
"The first time I fell in love, and it also the first time love breaks me. I don't even know what did I do wrong."
Lizzie cupped his cheeks, her eyes bore into his clear blue eyes. "And you should not fall because of it. Yes you may be sad, but don't fall because of it. Don't ruin your own life. It will only give her a satisfaction."
"I wanna see you tear that bitch down, and give her what she deserves. Okay?"
Tom nodded. And then hugged Lizzie again, but not too long because a knock on his door, making him frowned in confusion. "Weird, I didn't expect a visitor."
Lizzie walked to the door, "I do."
She opened the door and embrace the person behind it, she then let the person in and making Tom caught up on his own breath.
"Hey, nice to finally meet you."
"Hailey."
