Once again, everyone was seated in the waiting area. This time though, everyone was planning out a possible strategy. No one knew what to expect, since the other teams hadn't been out yet. They went for some basics, Argusk in front with Sairina. Lycan and Azure in the middle and Elanor in the back. Their strategy planning was cut short as every participating team was called to the arena. The team of five gathered their weapons and readied themselves and went out.

"What do you think will happen now?" Elanor asked the taller male. "Not sure." Argusk stated, blankly staring ahead. They continued walking to the middle. Elanor kept on chatting and asking. No response. Then they reached the arena middle.

The human team and the orc team stood there already. Waiting. All the participating teams were gathered. Why? We'll find out.

"So, dearest audience, you're given a choice," The announcer finally announced. "Which team will be put against the 'boss'?" Everyone stared. But it seemed clear who would be going against the 'ultimate' boss. Most of the audience were chanting "The blood bones!" and with the votes from the audience, the human team and orc team left the arena. Now, the adventurers were the only ones in the arena. Just them and the anticipation.

"Well it is decided! Let the opponent enter!" The announcer dramatically declared. The gate placed right under where the announcer was standing opened. It took awhile, but the slight growling got louder and louder. A scale covered creature slowly entered the arena. Catching that thing must've been a pain. It seemed young, but it was hard to determine. It slowly got closer. The audience seemed intrigued; their attention set on the battle about to happen. The dragon neared its opponents. It wanted to fight. By the looks of it, Sairina seemed very ready as well. The dragon's glare was solely directed towards the group. Everything seemed to be still, no one talked, and no one moved. At least until the dragon opened its mouth. Poison attack, no doubt.

The dragon proceeds to then exhale a poisonous gas, hitting the whole party. Some managed to get away with few scratches. Lycan on the other hand fell to the ground with a thud. Everyone was already drained. The damage taken by the poisonous gas getting them hard. Most coughing and whatnot. Some on the ground. Pain. Just a lot of pain.

Sairina got ahold of herself fast though. She ran for the dragon and within the blink of an eye had summoned her great sword. She jumped at it and hit the scales; no damage dealt. Lycan was still unconscious on the ground. Her breathing fading with every passing second. But with the only healer still a coughing mess, the chances of her survival lowered immensely. Argusk quickly got ahold of himself as well. He too ran for the dragon and attacked with his long sword. He hit through the scales and charred some of its skin. The purple glow still lingering on his sword after ripping it out again.

Elanor, after a lot of coughing, finally got up. She directed her ray of frost for the poisonous dragon and shot. The frigid blue-white light hitting the dragon slightly. A part of its leg froze a bit. But it simply just shrugged the ice off. It damaged it slightly but was hardly enough to hurt it. The healer was still on the ground. Slowly getting ahold of herself and once she finally did, went straight over to the dying Lycan. She placed her hands on Lycan and her palms began glowing with a yellow warmth. Lycan awoke and got up quickly, leaving the healer to do whatever. Azure only got a little closer to the dragon before the dragon reacted again. Its poison breath had yet to return, so it used both of its claws on Argusk and tried to bite after Sairina. The first claw missed Argusk by mere inches, the other got ahold of his arm. It made a deep wound in his left arm. Argusk was now fighting for consciousness. His blood flowing out from his wounds. With his last bit of strength, he managed to remain conscious.

Sairina thought she dodged the bite attack, but the pain settled in rather quickly. The dragon's teeth had gotten a bit of her shoulder area and made a little wound. It wasn't bad, but you could see Sairina struggling. Although she managed to get it under control, her next attack could end up sloppy. She gathered the strength left and the whispers began. The audience seemed bothered, so did her team. But the dragon was hardly affected. She didn't reach it; she failed her whispers.
