"So what are you gonna do ? Break up with him ?" She asked
"We are done" I said simply
"you're sure you don't wanna talk to him and try to clear things up?"
"Things are already clear" a voice interrupted
I turn to see someone I wasn't expecting
"Wait what ? For how long have you been standing there ?" I can be stupid sometimes. How come I just forgot about that little guy ?
I mean , I saw him entering in my room with mum but didn't even know he was still standing there.
Maybe it's because he's a little guy and he's too short for me to see...
He rolled his eyes
"I now know the reason why they say love makes people blind"
"Shut up!"
"You're so blind"
"I said... wait , no it's because you're a little guy and you're so tiny . So how do you expect me to see you ?" Then I gave him a 'see' look .
"Now , you shut up!" He said , to which I chuckled .
"Mum?" Called the little guy
"Mmm?" She grunted in response
"I told you Edem was an asshole" he said simply with an 'I told you' look.
"Wait ! What's he talking about?" I asked confused
"Never mind, you know the little guy always have something to say" she said , trying to make me forget about it but it wasn't good enough to stop my curiosity.
"Can everyone stop calling me little guy ?"
"No!" Mum and I shouted simultaneously and chuckled.
He rolled his eyes
"Fine don't stop" he said and bent down to pick a pillow I had dropped in my crying war
He came close to us and started hitting us with it. I ran to the other side of the bed to pick the other one and soon , it turned to a pillow fight.

After we have had the pillow fight that made me completely forget I was in pain some minutes ago , we were all laying on the cold floor in an awkward silence.
I could see my mum lost in her own thoughts and Eric busy playing with some few objects his hand made contact with. Ooh children...
I then decided to break the silence . I cleared my throat
"At which time are we going out for shopping?" They both turn to face me .
"Now?" I added. I just love going out for shopping
"It depends on you" She muttered
"Ok then , we're leaving in the next then minutes coz I have to freshen up and I'm ready" Eric said . I think he made it up to him.
"Sorry little guy but she was talking about me! So it's up to me!" I muttered.
"I don't think so, wanna know why ?" He asked
"Yeah, I'm listening?" I said for him to continue.
"Dad said when he's not home, I'm the man of the house, so , since I'm the man of the house , it iiiis up to meee !!" He made it clear .
"OMG how did I forget about it ?" He smirked .
"Because your brain is filled with tears and Edem written in and on it" he answered
"Great , since you're the man of the house, it's up to you" mum said with a smile on her face.
Wait , I think I recognized this smile....
Eric smiles . Jesus Christ de Nazareth , this guy doesn't know what this old woman's preparing for him.LMAO !!
YEP you're right that's how I call her : old woman 😁
"Being the man of the house , you're gonna spend on us today . You ready ?" She said it like a five year old girl telling her dad how amazing She wants her birthday party to be .
He wanted to speak but I cut in
"One minute mum , you forgot something"
"Yeah what ?"
"His taking me to my art classes tomorrow, since dad's not here and that he's the one replacing him" I smiled.
I have no art class tomorrow. I told him I have it because he hated going to the art classes with me . His reasons are : he hates drawing ; there's a girl named Catherina , she loves drawing and she always wins when competing with him . We've been teasing him that he's in love with her but he's always doing as if he hates her.
I just love childhood loves...
A little boring but interesting at the same time.
"Yayyy, guess what mum?"
"What ?"
"You're not driving today . The man of the house is"
"Wait-" I cut her
"Shhh mum don't spoil the fun" I said lowly so she could be the only one to hear.
"Let's just make it up to you"
Yayyy I won the battle
He continues "there's no way I'm going to this stupid classes"
