Learning the news

The doctor told you that you need back surgery and they will set it up, you will have pre-op appointment on Monday at 2pm then surgery will be next Friday around 8am you can go home in just a little bit but you don't need to stand up long periods of time, plus no heavy lifting and walking long, until your surgery come next Friday, as craig let's the doctor know you will be ready for surgery come next Friday, as they give you some medicine then goes to get your release papers, you got to call your boss and let her know the situation, you are worried she will find someone else to be the other manager because you can't start the new position come next Tuesday because you will not be able to work, plus you will be out of action for a few months, so you grab Craig's phone and calls your boss to let her know what is going on and she takes it well.

She lets you know no one will take your position as the other manager, and just get well, and return to work stronger and healthy, as you smile in the phone and tell her after you have the surgery come next Friday and after you get the okay from the doctor in two weeks you will come weekly and make sure your station is up to date, as she lets you know she will put Sami to keep a look on it until you can get there as you smile and thank her for being so nice to you, she will put Sami as a temporary manager untill you return because you are going to be the permanent manager with Ronda,
The doctor comes in and let's you sign the papers then you leave with Craig J and Nicky, Pope and Deran are right behind you and Smurf is right behind them.

Craig calls your sister and let's her know about the surgery come next Friday at 8am as you smile at him as she lets him know she will be there she will leave Monday morning and he there for a few days as Craig smiles and let's her know she can stay at the house with you until she leaves then she lets Craig know to let you know your back held up longer then you both through as she laughs and you hear her and laugh too as they hang up and you smile at him and thank him for calling her as he smiles at you and you four pull in the driveway and J helps you out of the truck as Craig grab your stuff and four go inside and Craig and J help you to the couch, as Deran and Pope come in and Smurf should be there soon she stop by the market for some groceries and get your favorite for dinner tonight.

As Craig goes and gets you some pillows and a blanket and let's you relax until Smurf comes in with the groceries and J and Nicky help her with them and Craig seats down behind you on the couch and kisses your forehead lightly as he can't believe you have been going this for years, as J comes in with some snacks that Smurf got as you smile at her and thank her for being an amazing women and a mother to you she smiles at you and kisses your forehead lightly "no problem babygirl, and let's you know you are her daughter aka her future daughter in law" as Craig smiles and holds you close. And you go to sleep soon after.

Craig picks you up and Carry's you to the bedroom and lays you down on the bed, then he goes back into the Living-room with everyone else and let's Smurf know Zoey will be here Monday afternoon and is going to stay here until after y/n surgery come Friday she will probably stay until Sunday some time as Smurf nods her head and goes to start on lunch as Craig smiles and goes outside and has a smoke with Deran and Pope, Baz Lena and Layla will be back home come tomorrow afternoon so Baz and Pope will have to work the office and Deran and Aiden plus Jake a friend of the boys are going to help at the bar. As he smokes his joint then goes back inside and to the bedroom to check on you before he goes into the bathroom to take a shower.

He wants to the sand and ocean water off them, he knows when you wake up you will need one too so he will help you with that but right now your sleeping peacefully because of the medicine they give you before you left the hospital, he gets in the shower and starts to wash him off his hands go to his face and he can't believe you are going in for surgery come next Friday, he knows it will be hard on you for the next few months but he isn't going no where, when he starts college in two months time, he will make sure Smurf or someone is with you until you go back to work at the salon he doesn't want you to do something you shouldn't and get hurt again. And he knows surfing and doing wild things together will be put on hold for a few months time and sex will be a few months also but he is alright with that he wants you better and if that means no hard or dangerous aka wild things for a few months he is willing to do it for you, you are his girl and your health is important just like his to you.

He finishes the shower then comes out and finds his shorts and a tank top and kisses your forehead lightly as you giggle and wake up as he smiles at you "feel better babygirl? As you nod your head and ask him can you take a shower you feel nasty as he nods his head and helps you up off the bed and you to the bathroom and starts the shower for you and helps you out of your clothes then into the shower, he stays by the shower in case you need his help as you shower fast then turns off the water and he helps you out and wraps you in a towel and takes you back to the bed so he can get you dress too he grabs you a shirt and a pair of shorts and helps you get ready.

After you get dressed he Carry's you out and back in the Living-room and seats you in the recliner then goes and gets you some water and some veggies to eat, Smurf is making lunch, he knows you are hungry right now so he grabs your some veggies and a water then comes back into the Living-room and hands you the water and veggies as he grabs some of the snacks on the table and seats down across from you in his chair. As he seats back and turns the TV on to the news. You feel helpless because he is going to take care of you until you are back up and around, you may go home with Zoey to iowa for a few weeks after the surgery. You will think about it and let Craig know your decision.

You love Craig but you don't want to be a bother during this time, so your sister calls your phone and let's you know she will be leaving tomorrow morning after work so she can be there by Monday evening as you tell her you love and be safe driving up. As she laughs and lets you know to do what the doctor said until surgery next Friday as you promise her you will and then she hangs up and you turn your phone off for the rest of the night as Craig smiles at you from his chair and you start to get up you need to use the bathroom as he jumps up but you stop him "I'm alright Craig I need to use the bathroom I can make it down the hall by myself" as he nods his head and let you go to the bathroom. You can do small things and he isn't going to take that away from you.
