The next few days go by pretty quick everyone has come by and saw you, your sister Zoey left Saturday morning and is back in Davenport Iowa with her husband Louis as today is Monday morning so today you got to walk down the hall and back and if you do you get to go home tomorrow morning, Craig is in the lunch room downstairs getting some coffee as you are seating on the side of the bed as the nurse comes in and gets you up and starts to walk you to the door as the nurses walk behind you in case you fall,

As you are going to walk the hall down and back up without no problem, as you start walking the hall as Craig comes up from the lunchroom with his coffee in hand as you are half way down the hallway.
As Craig waits for you at the end of the hallway as you giggle and make it to Craig at the end of the hallway, as Craig smiles at you and you you turn around and start back going to your room as you feel good as you get to the half way point and you stop for a few minutes then you continue to the room, as you make it to the room as you smile and make it to your bed as get in the bed again and the nurse hooks you back up to the machines. As Craig comes in and seats down next to the bed in his chair as the nurse says she will tell the doctor you walk down and back up the hall only stopping for a few minutes which is a good thing he may let you leave tonight when he makes his rounds. As you nod your head. You hope the doctor comes in and releasing you tonight that means you can go to the Lena's funeral Tomorrow afternoon as Craig gribs your hand as you lay back down on the bed as he is next to you in the chair as you lay there and relax after your work as he calls Smurf and let's her know if the doctor releases you tonight then you both will be back home tonight as he will let her know as soon as the doctor comes in and let's you two know something. As lunch is bring up and you eat some of it as Craig will go downstairs to the lunchroom for something for him in a little bit as you eat the veggies and the bread but that's all you don't like the meat here as Craig smiles and gets up and over to you and kisses your forehead and goes to get him something for lunch as the nurse comes in and asks you if you want to walk again as you nod your head and she unhooks you again and you get up off the bed and walk to the doctor as the doctor is at the front desk looking over some paperwork as you smile at him.
And he says "Shasta I'm going to release you in about 2 hours so do your walk then go back to your room and I'll be sending the nurse to get you ready to go home, you will need to see your surgeon in two weeks from now for the post-op appointment" as you nod your head and thank him as you and the nurse walk down the hall and back up as Craig comes up with his coke in hand as you are back in the bedroom and on the bed as you giggle and let him know the doctor is going to release you in two hours, and two weeks from today you got to go see your surgeon for the check up, as he smirks at you and drinks his coke and you both are happy to be going home in two hours the hospital isn't somewhere you can rest especially after some kind of surgery and you know Craig hasn't been sleeping good too in the chair.
As Craig gets your bag ready to go home as a few minutes go by and the nurse comes in and unhooks you from the machines and giving Craig your prescription so he can go by and get them before you head home, as a few more minutes go and your signing your release papers so you can leave as soon as the doctor comes in and checks you over real quick. As you are looking forward to going home and being able to sleep naked before your back makes it hard to sleep in clothing and you know the next few months your going to have to sleep naked most of the time maybe only your underwear but mostly naked if you can get by with it. As Craig will not mind you sleeping naked as long as you are next to him as Craig smiles at you as the doctor comes in and checks you over before giving you the green light, as the nurse comes in with a wheelchair so you can go ahead and go home as you smile at your nurse before you and Craig go outside and he is looking for Deran's Jeep because Deran is picking you two up and taking you home as Deran pulls up and Craig helps you in the front seat as he pushes the wheelchair back in and gets in the backseat when he comes back out as Deran smiles at you, your a tough cookie because you where meant to be in the hospital for at least another day but you got out early and you can go to Lena's funeral tomorrow afternoon as you are happy you got out early even if it was one day 3 days is better then 4 Right.
Craig asks Deran to stop by the pharmacy to put your prescriptions in, he will come back And get them later on before the pharmacy closes tonight as Deran nods and takes you both to the pharmacy as Deran goes through the drive-thru and Craig hands your prescriptions to the lady and let's them know he will be back to pick it up before they close tonight as she nods and you all head home from the pharmacy. Craig smiles at you as Deran pulls in the driveway and you get out and walk to the door, it's nothing bad you are feeling better then you did before so you know the surgery worked perfectly as Craig thanks Deran and grabs your bag and walks up behind and you two go inside the house to see J and Nicky with Smurf in the Living-room watching TV as all three look up and see you and smile big as J and Nicky get up and come over to you as hugs you before J helps you to the chair as you kiss his cheek lightly and thanks him as Smurf comes over and kisses your forehead "welcome home baby" as you smile and Craig says "she is going to go to Lena's funeral tomorrow afternoon so I'll call Baz and let him know she is out of the hospital" as Smurf smiles and asks if you need anything as you shake your head and let her know no as you ask Craig for your phone you need to call Zoey and let her know you got out early plus you need to text your boss so she doesn't come back to the hospital for another visit later on this week as he nods his head and goes to get your phone for you.
