Your surgery finally happens!

You, Craig Smurf and Zoey make it to the hospital on time and you are in your bed waiting for the doctor to come in and talk to you before the surgery starts, as Craig is out in the waiting room with his mom while Zoey is in there with you for a few minutes then he will come back and kiss you and then you will go in. After a few minutes with you Zoey is heading back to the waiting room and Craig can come back but while she is walking out and he is walking in the doctor comes in and let's you know how long the surgery will take as you nod your head agreeing to it all and he says he will see you back there, as Craig comes in and kisses you and promises you will be alright and he will take good care of you when you get home, as you smile and he leaves and head back out to the waiting room.

A few minutes go by and your back in the surgery room and they are about to begin, fast forward to after the surgery, you are in the recovery room and they are getting you ready to go to your room for the next few days, as the nurse goes out and let's your family the news, that the surgery was a complete success and you are about to be moved upstairs, to room 402 so they can go to the fourth floor and they can see you come off the elevator and following you to the room, as Craig smiles and helps Zoey up and both him and Smurf start going to the elevators with Zoey and they go up to floor 4 and wait for you to come up. As Zoey wants to check on you then her and Smurf will head home so Deran Aiden, Baz and Layla can come visit later on, Pope J and Nicky will be by tomorrow and your sister is leaving tomorrow to head back home. So she will stop by tomorrow morning and see you again before she leaves. As you come up and the nurses push you  into room 402 and Craig, Smurf and Zoey come in as the floors nurse comes in and sets all your wines up and as she smiles at your guests and let's them know they can go in a few seconds they got to get me back on the machines as Craig nods his head and a few minutes go by and they come in as Zoey kisses your forehead, as you smile at her and she says " she and Smurf are heading home but she will stop by tomorrow before she leaves to head home herself as you nod your head and she and Smurf head out as Smurf kisses your cheek lightly as Craig seats down in the chair next to you grabs your hand, as the nurse comes in and let's you both know the doctor said if you can get up and walk down the hall come Monday morning you can go home Tuesday morning as you head your head, you will not be able to go to the funeral still because Tuesday morning you get out the funeral is Tuesday afternoon and you got to go home and rest as soon as you get released so Craig can take you home and go be there for Baz and Layla, you told him that early this week.

As the nurse comes in and helps you in to the bathroom so you can pee, your in pain but you got to move A little bit each day so in two days you can walk down the hall, as Deran, Aiden, Baz and Layla are on their way over so Craig texts both Deran and Baz the room number, as you smile and nurse brings you some Jello and some water as you thank her and she nods her head as Craig smirks at you, he will go downstairs and grabs something when either Deran and Aiden get there or Baz and Layla, so your not Alone. As Baz and Layla arrive first and Craig goes down and gets some food leaving you upstairs with Layla and Baz and oj his way back up with the food he meets Deran and Aiden coming in as they walk upstairs and as soon as they walk in the room, Baz and Layla have to leave she needs to go home and to bed, Smurf is taking her and Nicky dress shopping for the funeral come Tuesday afternoon. As you kiss Layla on the forehead and they leave as Deran comes over and kisses your forehead lightly then Aiden does the same as Craig seats down and eats his dinner.

As Aiden and Deran are talking to you as the nurse comes in and checks on you as you smile at her and she asks your pain level as you say your hurting about 4 so she nods her head and goes back to her desk, putting it in your file a couple hours after surgery and your not pain over five yet, as you know your pain level is high normal so your doing good after the surgery a few hours ago, you are in good shape because you got your back fixed finally so it's all good. As a few minutes go by and both Deran and Aiden leave and head home, they said they I'll be by later this weekend and check on you as Craig smirks and he lays back on his chair and you two watch some "live PD on the tv as he looks over at you and you made yourself a promise in 3 months you are going to be back at work even if it's few hours a day then in 6 you and Craig are making that trip down to Davenport Iowa for a few days, you are going to recover as soon as you can. As Craig smirks at you he knows with you, you are looking to the future and how quick you can do things, because the doctor told you after this surgery you could be out for up to 9 months but you are going to be back up and around way before the 9 months and it's truth 6 months your going to be cleaned by the doctor to be back doing everything your meant to do so you two can make a trip to your hometown.

As you lay there and your neck, shoulders and back is starting to hurt so you push the call button and the nurse comes in and you let her know your pain level is getting close to 6 now you think the medicine they give you in the recovery room is wearing off, as she goes and gets you something and puts it in your file, normal people need the pain medicine before you have asked for it, as she comes back and gives it to you then heads back to her desk, as you get comfortable in the bed and start to go sleep as Craig is watching the TV show and he looks over and sees you sleeping peacefully so he turns the TV down and gets comfortable and goes to sleep soon after.
