y/n and austin had been together for 4 years, before they called it quits right before their daughter was born. they now co-parent the 4 year old "aaliyah ". a bright joyful curly headed little girl with her dads smile and her moms stubborn personality.

it was the 2nd week of the month so it was austin's turn to have her. they alternated weeks so they both had enough time off from aaliyah and enough time with her. y/n was getting aaliyah dressed for her week with her dad and uncles. "come baby daddy is probably waiting" she complained while the little girl ran in circles around the room butt ass naked.

"i miss austin mommy" she said making an abrupt stop in front of y/n giving her a sec to slip a shirt over her head. y/n bust out laughing "don't say that" y/n continued to laugh, watching the little girl giggle along with her. she finished getting aaliyah ready and headed over to the boys house.

austin opened the door seeing y/n pulling into the driveway excited to see his two favorite girls. y/n always held a special place in his heart despite them not being together.

"DADDY!" aaliyah yelled running inside. austin embraces her in a tight hug spinning her around. "i missed you" she smiled. "i missed your cute little face too mama" he pinched her cheek smiling. austin sets aaliyah down and brings his attention to y/n who was fumbling with something in her bag.

"how you been?" he swiftly pulls her into a hug kissing her cheek.

"eww" aaliyah whines watching her parents. austin chuckled looking at her clinging onto his left leg.

"i'm okay aus don't worry about me" y/n smiled getting ready to leave. austin nodded knowing y/n wasn't one to open up about anything she was going through, he always tried to reason with her but she always protested against it.

"you know i can't help it when you have this little one alone all the time" he pouts, seeing how exhausted she looked.

"she's been bad all week" y/n silently laughs finally handing over aaliyah's bag, austin had more than enough stuff at his house for her but y/n couldn't help but bring her with some extra stuff just in case.

austin crouches down to aaliyahs level coming face to face looking into his daughters big brown eyes, lifting the little girl into his arms.

"baby what have i said about giving mommy trouble?" he asked moving her wild hair out of her face. aaliyah pouted tears forming in her eyes, already knowing what he is about to say.

"you cannot play with percy and simba if you are bad for mommy remember?" he asked. he knew y/n didn't like to discipline her because of her own childhood so he had to take on the responsibility. she rested her head on his shoulder rubbing her back.

"i'm sawy daddy" she said silently crying. austin wiped them knowing this is her tactic to make him give into her.

"crying does not make it better" he said. y/n watched in awe at the two, it hurt her to see
her little baby cry but she was never good with telling her no and what she was doing was bad. austin always has to remind her not to give in so easily. austin didn't even bother to ask what she had done, he knew his daughter very well it was more than likely she refused to get dress and was being stubborn.

" but...but i wuv them pwease daddy" she whined. austin shook his head at her.

"IS THAT MY BUBBA?" Nick voiced boomed throughout the house, him appearing from the stair case.

"UNCLE NICK!" aaliyah smiles wide running towards him. nick picked her up spinning her. the dogs appear also barking seeing the little girl becoming excited jumping around them.

"oof your getting big on me huh almost couldn't pick you up" he laughed and pinched her nose. aaliyah giggled smacking his hand away.

"don't set her down, she was being bad" austin said sternly. nick rolled his eyes.

"daddy said i can't play with the dogs" she whined. nick glared at austin and y/n who stood by the door talking with eachother catching up on life. "well guess who doesn't have to listen to your dad?" nick smiled.

she looked at him confused "who?" she asked. "me" he set her down letting the dogs lick her and jump on her.

"uh uh y'all get out" he patted the dogs sides making them walk away. nick helped taking them into the other room.

"austin... don't be making my baby cry" y/n pouts moving past him hugging aaliyah wiping her tears, fixing her hair.

"y/n she's 4 she knows better" he said sternly folding his arms.

"i will play with them later.. right daddy?" aaliyah asked looking up at her father. austin nods walking away into the kitchen to make her a snack.

"hey y/n i'm about to cook care to stay and eat?" he asks appearing from the corner. y/n declines already having plans for later in the night.

"i have to get going— but mommy loves you, your daddy has my number facetime before bed like usual okay?" y/n smiled looking in the eyes of her pride and joy kissing her on the cheek. when aaliyah was born it completely changed y/n for the better. she hated not being able to give her daughter the example of having a family together like she wanted as a child, but things happen and y/n and austin equally loved their daughter despite their situation.

"bye mommy i love you" aaliyah hugged y/n back tightly. austin watched the two in awe wishing things hadn't turned out like they did. he picks aaliyah up showing y/n out watching her as she pulled out. aaliyah started waving blowing a kiss to y/n.

"daddy.. WAVE!" she glares at austin. he laughs waving alone with her until y/n fully pulled out and sped down the street. they reenter the house and austin lets aaliyah run free while he made her a snack.
