*•°*.y/n's pov*•°*.It was Wednesday the 25th of September and The Goldfinch premiere was in two days. My mum was finally home and I was telling her all about what my friends had done for my birthday.
"You do realise I know half of the things because they asked my permission?"
She rolled her eyes, she was making dinner, pasta, as I sat at the breakfast bar.
"I'm so excited, I'm actually so happy right now."
I was smiling from ear to ear, completely giddy.
"What time is it?"
She asked stepping away from the stove to take a drink out of her glass.
"7:30pm."
I sat my phone down after saying it and my mum went back to cooking.
"So, you and Wyatt?"
She didn't look up from the pot on the stove.
"What about us?"
I said feeling my face going bright red.
"You don't have to act like you don't have a crush on him, he's a lovely boy."
She said looking at me and smiling.
"The Goldfinch premiere. We're going together, he made it a date."
I said quickly sipping out of my glass while looking at her over the brim of it.
She let out a squeal and I choked on my drink spitting it out and laughing.
"It's not a big deal."
I said, completely lying through my teeth.
"Oh it so is, I can't wait to see all the photos of you two!"
She was dishing us both a bowl each of pasta.
"Do you want cheese on it?"
She said holding up the grater.
"Noooo."
I laughed.*•°*.a couple hours later*•°*.
*ping*
I roll over in my bed and pick up my phone to see who's texting me at... 12:17am?!
It was Wyatt.*•°*.imessage*•°*.

*•°*.y/n's pov*•°*.
As I shoved on a black hoodie, grey sweatpants, vans and a black beanie to top of the grunge vibe I wanted.
I opened my door as quietly as I could and made my way downstairs, I opened my front door and once I was outside I closed and locked it. Taking my house keys with me.
I turn to see the man, the myth, the legend, Wyatt Jess Oleff standing in my front yard.
"You're lucky my mum's a heavy sleeper."
I said, walking up to him.
"Did you get into Jack's closet? You're giving me skater vibes."
He said walking beside me.
"Shut up you dork."
We started walking but I still had no idea where we were going.
"So where exactly-"
He cut me off halfway through my question.
"Just wait."*•°*.
After walking for what felt like forever we got to this weird building at the edge of the city.
"Wyatt, if you're going to murder me can you just tell me?"
I said giving him a sketched look.
"Don't be so boring."
He grabbed my arm and we went into the building, climbing the many stairs until we got to the top. It was a multistorey car park.
As we got to the top, it was completely open. Apart from a bar to stop from falling off the edge.
They're were barely any cars in the building and only like one at the top.
The view over the city was beautiful, the hundreds of little lights was amazing especially at night.
"I thought you were hungry?"
I said turning to him and smiling.
"We'll get McDonalds after this."
He walked over to me as I was standing at the edge.
