[Kai's POV]

"Kai, c'mon, you need to get over Skylor. It's been WAY too long!" Cole said as we wandered the streets of Ninjago City.

"Well, it's kinda hard when she OWNS your favorite noodle house." I said, eyeing the noodle house down the road.

"Kai, it's been over a year." Zane said. "I believe that is what people call 'a long time'."

"You haven't gotten over Pixal!" I accused.

"I don't need to. Pixal and I are one. We are always together." Zane said, patting his own head. I rolled my eyes.

"Guys, it's not the fact that Kai can't get over Skylor." Jay said. "He's just lost his mojo!"

"What!?" I cried. "I still got my mojo! We all do!"

"Mmhmm." Cole said. "I think I have to agree with Jay on this one."

"You are unbelievable!" I said. "I'm over Skylor and I still have my mojo! Cole's the strong leader, Jay's the wussy, Zane's the smart one, and I'm the flirty one! The chick magnet! You know..." The other three shook their heads.

"Hold on, now that I think about it, you can't get over someone who you were never with!" Jay said.

"Shut up." I said. "Skylor and I may not have been together, but there was a connection!"

"Suuuure." Cole said. "Prove it to us, then." The four of us stopped outside the noodle house.

"'P-Prove it'?" I stuttered. Crap, I didn't mean to stutter!

"What? Are you afraid?" Zane asked.

"No! Of course not!" I said. "I'm hungry, let's hurry up!" We entered the noodle house, finding Skylor and an unfamiliar boy behind the counter.

"Hey, Skylor!" Cole said.

"Hey, guys." Skylor said, seeming busy with noodles.

"Who's the newbie?" Jay asked, walking up to the counter.

"I'm (Y/N)." He said. "I just started working here yesterday. Nice to meet you!"

"It's nice to meet you too." Jay said, shaking his hand. Cole shook it next. (Y/N) seemed a little startled when Zane went to shake his hand.

"Are you...a robot?" He asked.

"Nindroid." Zane said.

"Cool!" He said, shaking Zane's hand happily. Next was me. I warmed up my hand and took his in mine. He blushed, but did a good job keeping his composure.

"I'm Kai." I said. "But you can call me whatever you want~"

"O-Oh, um, thanks." (Y/N) said awkwardly. It was actually quite adorable. Wait, it was adorable? Yes, it was. But...this was the first time I had ever thought that about a guy. "I think I'll call you Kai for now."

"For now." I said, letting go of his hand.

"I like working here." (Y/N) said to Skylor, making us laugh. "Are you guys regulars?"

"Yup! I'm surprised the others haven't fattened yet!" Zane said, making Jay pout.

"Awesome! So I'll get to see you guys often?" He asked.
