"Best Friends" [Luka Couffaine x Reader]

Chapter Two (^ later reference in the chapter)

I continued sketching in my sketchbook as I waited for Luka, it ended up being the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

"Hey," a familiar voice said behind me. "Nice drawing." I froze, as soon as I heard his calming voice my heart started beating fast and my face turned as red as my drawing.

"Hey Luka," I replied nervously. "How are you?"

"I'm good, thank you for asking." He replied. " So, you need help with the guitar?"

"Oh, yeah," I replied, still shocked.

"I never new you were into playing the guitar," he said.

"I'm not, I don't play, this is just a gift." After that he helped me tune the guitar, we then sat and talked for a bit.

Once I got home I started painting the guitar, it was for Luka, I painted some of his favorite things including the Jagged Stone logo, music notes to his favorite song, and more. When I was done painting it I set it aside and ate dinner, my parents were on a business trip so I had to take care of myself, sister, and pet (whatever pet you have or want).
I tucked my little sister into bed and sung her favorite song for her, I Do Adore by Mindy Gledhill. I got into bed and fell asleep.

When I got up, I got dressed and made breakfast and fed (pet). I woke my sister, Vivian up to get breakfast, she ate and got dressed and I took her to school. I walked to my school, which luckily isn't that far away, and saw my friends walking together. I caught up with them and we started talking.

"Guys I can't wait for the field trip today!" Alya exclaimed.

"Wait that's today?!" I questioned

"Yeah," Marinette responded.

"I forgot my money.." I replied. I checked my phone only 7:12 "I'm going to run and get my wallet."

"Be quick," Alya told me.

"I'll try my best." I responded.

I ran back to my house and grabbed my wallet, as I was locking the door to my house, I saw Luka, I waved at him then ran off. I made it to school just as the bell rang.

"Sorry I'm late, Miss Bustier," I said as I walked into class.

"It's fine, just find a partner and we'll be all good," she responded.

I looked around the class and everyone had a partner, except, Lila. I sighed and walked over to her.

"Hi bestie!" She exclaimed. "Aren't you so excited to go to London with me?"

"Sure." I replied, unamused.

When we got on the train everyone was sitting with their partners. I had an isle seat so I scooted as far away as I could from Lila. I pulled out my notebook and started thinking of ways I could tell Luka that I liked him. I didn't like any of them so I started drawing. I drew Luka and I together on Pont des Arts (The bridge with the locks if you don't know). Lila looked over my shoulder and I gave her a death glare. She stopped looking over my shoulder and looked out the window, but suddenly I got a notification from Instagram. It was a picture of my drawing with Luka and I tagged in it.

To make matters worse the driver of the train was Akumatized, we all hid in the back of the train and somehow Ladybug and Chat Noir appeared. I had already suspected that Ladybug was Marinette and Chat Noir was Adrien, now I suspect it even more. Ladybug, Chat Noir, and a newer hero defeated the villain.

We all celebrated their success. Until I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I checked the notification and it was Luka, my face went pale,  I started, sweating, and my anxiety skyrocketed. I went to a different car to look at the message, I panicked, and my anxiety went even higher when I saw the words 'I need to talk with you.'
