"Best Friends" [Luka Couffaine x Reader]

Chapter Five

Everything was perfect. Until someone got Akumatized. It destroyed everything, I was heartbroken. I decided to wait in an ally to make sure Ladybug and Chat Noir could handle it, to my disappointment, they couldn't. I talked to Gryff about my powers and how to use them.

"When you transform into hero form," Gryff started. "You will have enhanced sight and strength. Your one-use power is 'Grypes' it makes you even stronger than before, you could carry a few people on your back if you wanted. You then only have a few more minutes to transform back into human form, your ring should blink when it gets close to being time to transform. To transform just say 'Gryff, let's soar' (I'm bad at thinking of things like that) and to detransform say 'Let's land'".

"Got it," I said, confident in myself. "Gryff, Let's soar!" With that she got sucked into the miraculous and I had an eagle-lion type bodysuit. Not only that, I had wings as well. I flew up looking for ladybug and chat noir. My eyesight surprisingly increased more than I had thought.

I spotted them trying to fight off the villain. I flew over towards them. Once I got there they gave me confused looks.

"No time for questions," I said. "I'll talk to you later about this." We finished fighting the Akumatized villain and I flew back to the party. It was fixed. I finished setting up the supplies. I heard my phone buzz in my pocket.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hey, (Y/N). I'll be on my way to meet at the park in a bit." Luka's voice replied.

"Okie. See you in a bit." I said, then hanging up.

"He's on his way!" I announced. Alya and Marinette walked up to me.

"(Y/N)," Alya said. "Honestly, I think you and Luka were meant to be."

"Yeah." Mari replied.

"Me, Luka, No." I said, trying to sound confident.

"You could give it a shot." They shrugged and walked away. Why do I always get shipped with the boys I like, it makes it so much more embarrassing. I thought to myself.

"HE'S COMING!" I heard someone yell.
