The World of Genders

I am a girl.

Some people may say that I am a girl because I have physical features that identify me as a girl, such as long hair, hips, (somewhat) or whatever. Some may say that I have emotional characteristics that identify me as a girl, such as friendliness, girliness or being emotional. (That's just stupid) However, the most prominent thing that shows that I am a girl is that I identify as one. I say that I am a girl on the inside or outside, or both. It really doesn't matter, but I feel like a girl, so I am one.

That is something that some people struggle with. Or more specifically, they struggle with those "other" people who tell them who they are. People who think they can just assume what the other person feels or identifies as without getting to know them. Now, for SURE I have done that. I have definitely assumed someone's gender based on profile pictures, skins (Minecraft), real life appearances, personality, and even voice. Don't even try to pretend you haven't. This is something that we can try to change, and learn about! Ok, seriously I'm going to stop talking like a college essay...

There are many different genders! Male, Female, Non-Binary, Transgender, Fluid-gender. Actually, transgender shouldn't even be classified as a "gender" in my opinion, because when you're transgender, you identify as a different gender/sex from what you were born as. So... It's not a gender, per se. ANYWAY, to be completely honest, I didn't know about "fluid-gender" until about a month and a half ago.

My take on fluid-gender is when you don't have a set gender. It could be month to month, week to week, day to day, or even hour to hour where you change. You move through different emotions or identities, and could feel male one minute, and female the other, or none at all! It was a really cool unique thing to learn about when I first heard of it, and I did some research. I realized pretty quickly though that it would be really hard to go to school, fill out forms, or do quizzes and anything that really required entering your gender. It also must be pretty hard to make friends in the beginning. Which is pretty stupid in my opinion, as it shouldn't really matter?

For this one-shot, I just kind of wanted to touch on the weird people that are out there, and the importance of finding your own identity before letting people determine you. I never had trouble finding my own gender identity, and I really thank StarClan for that. I cannot begin to relate to any of the personal and social struggles someone would have to go through to put themselves out there.

So, LOVE YOURSELF! NO MATTER WHAT! LORD I DO NOT FREAKING CARE IF YOU IDENTIFY AS ALIEN, JUST LLLoOOOOOVEEEE

So sorry,
