"how did he die?" tim's mother, karen asked moby. she held her head in her palm for a moment, contemplating everything.
"uh, i don't know. he just choked," moby beeped, "on a uh, grape. he choked on a grape."
"oh gosh," everybody was swarmed around tim's body. deadass? they falling for this? moby thought.
a few days later
"thank you to everyone who attended this funeral for my loving son. he was taken from us too soon and i- i miss him a lot. i do. he was loving, caring, handsome, compassionate and overall a great human." everybody was crying. except moby of course, he couldn't cry. it would probably kill him, just like tim. "and i want to-" moby tuned her out. the only thing in his mind was that one tiktok audio.
why don't you say so? didnt even notice, no p- moby didn't want to be here, but his mom forced him to come because him and tim were "amazing friends." they weren't. moby barely knew his name.
that's when moby heard sirens.
