I step into my father's large office area, the smell of his cologne and paper surrounding me. Needless to say, he spends so much of his time in here. He gestures for me to sit in his chair as I shut the door behind me quietly.

"Sebastian," my palms begin to sweat. He only uses my name if something is serious. "You need to find a bride."

"O-ok..." I stutter. I don't know what else to say. This is the first time he's brought up marriage to me.

He places his hand on my shoulder and looks down at me with concern. "Son, I know I've never talked to you about this before, but I'm becoming an old man. Things have to be done. I understand that you have never wanted to be know to the public. That is why I am allowing you 2 years to find a bride. That should be enough time to find a bride all the while, shielding your identity." With his hands held in front of him, he nostalgically gazes out the window.

I highly doubt I could find a bride within 2 years. "I know you may have doubts given your, er, circumstance," he continues. Even my father notices how different I am. Grand. "That is why I'm having your brother, Dillon, and one other person of your choosing help you find some one."

My father is mad, conmpletely and utterly mad.

My mother, the Queen, walks in with Dillon complaining. Guessing mom broke the news to him. He shoots me deadly glares as make his way over the chair in front of me.

Even though I'm the eldest, Dillon looks far older than I. Must have to do with the fact that his bitterness caused him to age so quickly. He's always been taller than I have. His looks draw the attention of females practically everywhere. I remember the first time a girl approached me, was to ask about my brother. No need to explain what a stab in the heart that was.

"Think of it like this," my mother says interrupting my thoughts. She brushes strands of hair from my face. "A time to strengthen your bond as brothers." She locks her gaze on Dillon, appearing cold and serious. "Or, think of it as your punishment for your recent behavior at school towards your classmate!"

Dillon's eyes widen in rage. "Mom! That's unfair! He totally had it coming he-"

"Not another word Dillon Gabriel Peyton! Regardless of what he did, you know to behave better than this! You will assist your brother. Additionally, you are grounded from any activities that may take place after school."

Dillon huffs and storms out of the room leaving unsettling tension. My father detects this and dismisses me to wherever. I head straight for Dillion's room.

As I walk through the hall, memories of Dillon and I as kids surge through my mind.

"Sebastian! Wanna race?!" My brother beamed at me with a joyous sparkle in his eyes.

"Go!" I yelled excitedly!

Dillon and I sprint to the end of the long hall, determination was evident on our faces. A few more steps and-Dillon won the race. We collapsed on the plush maroon rug with gold embroidery, with grins the Cheshire Cat would be pleased with.

I make a left to a small hall where Dillion's room is at the end. I hold my breath as I knock on door.

"Leave me." He shouts from the other side.

"Dill, it's me. Open up I just wanna talk bro." I hear footsteps approach the door. The handle jiggles just a bit before my younger brother appears presenting me with the iciest glare. "Dude, I had no idea this was going to happen. I know mom and dad said you have to help me and all but, if you don't want to thats cool with me. I'm pretty sure you have more important stuff to do than help find me-"

"I punched the guy because I overheard him planning to hurt you" he interrupts me. "Don't worry about it. I'm pissed that I have to do this for you but, I'll help find you a girl."

With that said, he slams his door shut leaving me to the deafening silence of our home.

I flop on my bed, pick up my black iPhone and press the name Snuggly Monster to call. It only takes a few rings until I hear an all too familiar voice.

"Shiro?" The voice on the line answers.

"Hey, Adam. Sebastian. Come over tomorrow. I need your help with something."

"Oh Bassyboo!" He coos annoyingly "I'll be there whenever you need me!"

I roll my eyes but crack a small smile at my best friend's idiotic ways. "Yeah, whatever. Just be here alright?" I hang up as he whines about me leaving him so suddenly. He's bonkers.
