Keigo never wanted this, he thought as he lay limp on his bed, grinning, unseeing at his ceiling. He never wanted this. Never wanted to be a hero. He just wanted to live his life. Have some fun. Fool around a bit. He blinked slowly, bringing joint back to his lips. He inhaled deeply, and released a puff of smoke. His wings were sprawled beneath him, feathers ruffled. He didn't want this. To be questioning everything while he lay here, high off his ass. Maybe a little drunk too. That couldn't be healthy. He simply didn't care.
Now you may be asking, "Keigo, You're not the number 2 hero for sitting on your ass. If you don't want the position then why are you there?"
Well, my friend, that would be because Kaigo Takami doesn't half ass anything. Give him a task and he is sure as hell gonna get it done, on time, with a couple hours to spare so he can talk to fans. It doesn't mean he wanted the job. He didn't ask to be a hero, to be a double agent, to kill Jeanist. He didn't want any of this. He dropped his joint in a cup of water. It would be so easy to stop. He traced the vein in his arm. So easy to just end everything. To be done. But wheres the fun in that? He plans on getting filthy rich off this job he doesn't want and retiring early. He will fool around now. Enjoy his young body. Maybe he can get Enji in bed. He grinned at the thought. Touya would never forgive him. And if it went public then Enji's image would be stained. Stained with the nut juice of a 22 year old hero. He laughed to himself. He could already see the headlines.
Number One Hero and Number Two Hero! Age is just a number?
He sat up, stretching out his wings. He really shouldn't fly in this condition. He walked out to the balcony. High chance of crashing. There's no way he could make it to Enji's office. He spread his wings. In fact, he was starting to feel drowsy now. He crouched. He shouldn't fly while intoxicated. He beat his wings downwards with one powerful movement. He would be a grease stain on the sidewalk my morning. He was in the air. He was unsteady and drifting side to side. He got high enough to glide lazily, closing his eyes to enjoy the cool, night air on his face. He was dozing off when he began to descend and shook himself awake, flying higher. He was getting hungry. Wonder if Enji had any food in his office... Doubtful.

Keigo managed to land on the balcony that Enji had had installed for him and stumbled into the office. He had expected to come in, sit in Enji's chair, and fall asleep. What he hadn't expected was for gold eyes to meet a pair of startled blue ones. He grasped the doorway for support. "'Eey, n'mber one." He slurred, stumbling towards the extra chair that was for meetings. A moment later he felt a strong arm catch him around the waist. He hadn't even realized he nearly fell. He didn't notice Enji get up. He just felt himself be lifted up, and he gave in, allowing himself to go slack. "What on Earth-" the fire hero mumbled, lifting him up. He sighed and set him in the chair. Keigo's head lolled back. He was beyond fighting his exaustion noe. It was 5 am and he hadnt got a wink of sleep. He listened as Enji walked back to his desk and pressed a button on his phone, and requested some water. Keigo drifted in and out of consciousness. He vaguely recalled hearing voices. Enji's voice. He didn't recall his words. He felt someone gently hold his head up. Not Enji. And someone put a cool glass to his lips. He drank. He was so thirsty. His throat was dryer than Erasure's sense of humor. He heard a female voice. It was familiar but he couldn't place it, but he couldn't focus either. He finally drifted into a dreamless sleep.

When he woke, the first thing Keigo notices was the ache in his neck and wings from the awkward position. The next he noticed was that he wasn't laying in his bed, and the third was that he was in Enji's office. He looked around tiredly, stretching his wings out.
The redhead looked up at him. "Feeling better?" Keigo rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "How the hell did I end up here?" He mumbled. Endeavor shook his head "Don't ask me. Crashed onto the balcony early this morning and nearly crawled in here." He said. "I had Fyumi come look at you to make sure nothing was really wrong. She said you were high. And probably drunk."
Oh yeah. He remembered that. But the trip here had completely slipped his mind. Did he sleep fly? He stood and groaned, popping his back in three places. He scratched his head. "S'rry about that. I don't remember any of it so I cant give you any explanation." He said "How about I get you a coffee?" He asked, patting his pockets. "Shit... How about an IOU?" He asked sheepishly, realizing his wallet was at home. Enji rolled his eyes "Just go home, Hawks. Go rest."
"But what about patrol this morning? When do we need to be there?" He asked. Endeavor snorted. "6 hours ago." He said. That woke the winged hero up. "What!? What time is it?" He asked, looking at the clock himself. 3:12. He gawked. He had slept that long? He scrambled to the balcony. "I need to go. Cya, Enji." And with that, he took off, ignoring the number one hero's insistence not to use his name.

Keigo flew through the air as fast as his wings would allow. He had to get home and put on his hero outfit and then hope that he can find Dabi.
He landed on his own balcony and shed his clothes as he rushed inside. Shower first, he decided, realizing that his clothes smelled strongly of weed.
The hot water running down his body and over his feathers felt nice. He stood like that in his custom built shower for a moment. Eyes closed, feathers puffed out, letting the water wash over him.

Once he stepped out of the shower and dried off, he got dressed and did his usual routine, trying to be quick. As soon as he finished, he grabbed a bagel from the kitchen and he was gone. Soaring through the sky and taking a bite of his breakfast... Er... Lunch.

He checked the usual spot first. No sight of him. He flew around a bit, scanning the ground. Finally, his eyes landed on a mess of black hair. He landed nearby. "Hey." He called. The villain turned to look at him, blue eyes meeting gold for the second time that day. "Its about fucking time." He snarled. "You think the boss gives me a bunch of time to sit around and wait!? Ive been wandering around for HOURS! And your sorry ass has the audacity to show up NOW?? I'll burn your dick off you-"
"Sorry sorry" Keigo replied coolly. "I know Im late. I had a rough night and overslept. I woke up ap about two hours ago." He explained.
Dabi huffed "I dont want your excuses." He told him. "Whats the update?" The winged hero handed him an envelope. "Heres the locations and times for all the patrols next month. Woods is taking leave for a bit so the heroes will be a bit short. I suggest attacking the warehouse between the 20th and 25th around noon or 6 pm, depending on the day. I can get Endeavor there alone too if you want." He said. Dabi shook his head. "Not yet." He said "I need him at his weakest."
Keigo just nodded. "Well if thats all. See ya, Touya." He grinned and dodged a punch, then shot into the sky. Now. Coffee.

A/N:
Hey hey. So. Should I add to this story? Make it a twoshot or threeshot? Or maybe just a bunch of Keigo oneshots?
And if you want to inspire me further, give me title ideas to work with, or plots! Thanks for your support!
