Trigger warning: unsympathetic everyone (sort of), sad Roman.

POV: Roman, first person.

See end for short summary.

I see a lake. The grass surrounding the lake is extremely green. No geese or geese poop to be found.

I grab a picnic blanket and a basket. I lay the blanket on the ground and sit on it. Then I grab a sandwich.

The sun is shining. I put down my sandwich and decide it's time to swim in the clear water.

I take my clothes off till I'm only wearing swimming trunks, and I run towards the water.

The water's very cold, but I keep swimming, until the shore is far behind me.

After a while, I get hungry. I decide to go back to my picnic and finish the sandwich.

I can't find the shore anymore. It's all just water. Where is my geese-proof picnic?

Panic. Where am I? Why aren't I getting back on land?

The water disappears, but instead of hitting the ground, I hit nothing.

I'm just falling into a black abyss.

I shut my eyes tight, hoping it'll all stop.

It doesn't. There's no end.

Until I suddenly stop falling. I open my eyes and still see nothing.

Oh wait, I do see something. In front of me is a colourful blob floating alongside me.

"Salutations, my rainbow friend. Who might you be?"

The blob doesn't respond. Instead, it starts to unfuse, I suppose.

"Oh, how quaint." I chuckle, but it sounds as if I'm drowning.

A dark blue blob flies towards me.

"Good day, fellow floater. Who might you be?" I say.

It shapes into something. A human. It murmurs something. I don't listen to it, instead I say it:

"Ah, I've got a friend who looks just like you, his name is..."

"Roman," the blob exclaims.

"No, no, that's not it."

"Roman, you aren't necessary."

"Uh, that's a bit rude, don't you think?"

A purple blob acts similarly, also shaping into one of my friends.

"Roman, can you even really call yourself a hero?"

A light blue blob that has replaced the purple one doesn't even say anything, but its human form just looks at me with a heartbroken expression.

While I'm still staring at the Patton-lookalike, I hear:

"Pump the brakes, Princey!"

Thomas's voice. Could recognise it from a mile away.

I turn around to see him, but...

"Here in the garden, let's play a game..."

Remus. If I weren't floating, I would've fallen to the ground in shock.

I try to fly towards him, but then he reshapes into a familiar yellow figure.

"Everybody just loves you, don't they?" He looks at me and smirks.

My eyes shut tight.

Short summary: Roman has a nightmare.
