Trigger Warning: mild swearing
POV: Roman, 1st person.
I open my eyes, and I realize I'm in my bed. Unsurprisingly, the rainbow blob torture turned out to just be a nightmare. I turn to look at my alarm, and notice it's only four AM, so I go back to sleep.
-
I wake up again after a really weird dream about me as a knight saving me as a princess from me as a dragon witch. It was kind of odd.
My alarm's beeping. Grumpily I reach to try and turn it off, but instead of a button, I feel...
...Spikes? Remus must've snuck in and switched my alarm clock with his. I look at the time that Remus's alarm clock is displaying. It's eleven AM.
That's great. Absolutely wonderful.
The alarm clock is still beeping. How do I turn this thing off?
I slam my fist on it. It stops for a second, then it beeps again, way quicker than before.
Then it explodes. I didn't even know you could program a bomb to also function as an alarm clock, but you learn something new everyday, I guess.
I think Logan might've programmed it. Remus and him hang out together quite a bit, and they both enjoy seeing me suffer, so it wouldn't be too surprising.
Anyway, I'm wide awake now, so I put my clothes on and walk out of my room. Everyone else is probably busy doing their job, so I should go and do the same.
Breakfast can wait.
As I walk down the hallway, I hear:
"Hi Ro!" Patton cheerfully shouts. I smile at him."Good morning to you, Mr. Sunshine! Why are you cheery so early in the morning?" I reply.
"It's eleven AM," Logan, who just happened to be walking next to Patton, comments. He's wearing a dark blue shirt, which is strange because he's always wearing a black shirt. Even when he sleeps.
"Well, I'm sure it's six AM somewhere. Ugh, I wish I lived there! Then I wouldn't have to deal with you nerds complaining about my sleeping habits!" I whine.
"We weren't even complaining yet...?" Logan says. I decide to ignore him. "So, Patton, what are you up to?" I instead ask.
"Oh, nothing much. I just gotta give good ol' Tom some happiness! He had a pretty bad dream last night. I don't want him to dwell over it for a week like last time." Shit, they're gonna get mad at me for doing my job wrong. Dang it, I shouldn't have eaten chili before bed.
"Do you think Remus got something to do with it? With the dream, I mean." No, he doesn't have anything to do with it, it's just my own stupid insecurities playing up, because I can't handle criticism, is what I think, but I say:
"Maybe, I guess. Anyway, I got to do my job, so adiós!" Both Patton and Logan look at me, confused.
"Okay, bye bye." Patton says hesitantly. Logan just turns around and walks away. Patton quickly follows.
Last thing I see from him is the back of his nice, light blue shirt which he always wears, but his cat hoodie isn't tied around shoulders for once. Guess both of those nerds had a change of fashion today.
I 'sink' to the living room, and to my surprise see both De-"no-real-name"-ceit and Virgil sitting on the couch, chatting.
Well, not really chatting. More so angrily discussing what to do about Remus and Logan's "pranks". Guess I'm not the only one who's alarm clock got replaced by a bomb.
My nightstand is probably in ruins from that bomb, and the glass of water standing on that nightstand has probably fallen over and ruined my sheets.
"Salutations, Anxious Andrew and Deceitful Dean," I say. They silmultaneously groan. "What a wonderful way to better my morning," Deceit mutters sarcastically. Virgil nods. "Let's suggest banning the royal twins from social interaction to the others." He adds.
As on cue, Remus appears on the couch, sandwiched in-between Virgil and Deceit. They hiss, which is a weird thing both and only the two of them do. With how many things they've got in common, I'm surprised they don't hang out more often.
"Hey, how did you guys like my little present~?" He asks. Virgil aggressively flips him off. "You destroyed my signed My Chemical Romance poster! Do you know how long I had to wait in line for that?!"
"The bomb was also very comforting for my pet snakes. They sure had a blast swimming through glass shards and-"
"Hey, hey, you guys really need to chill. Come into my room tonight, and I'll show you how to relax~" he tells Deceit and Virgil in a seductive tone.
"No!" They both yell, and not even three seconds later, they're throwing stuff while arguing with Remus.
I decide it's probably time to leave, before I get dragged into this somehow.
The last thing I see before sinking down is a blur of green, yellow and purple.
Short Summary: Roman's daily routine.
A/N: Silmultaneously is a stupidly difficult word to spell and I hate it.
Question of the day: What's up?
