A week had pasted, and Candace and LeighAnne hadn't heard or seen anything of The Stallion since the first encounter. Candace still wondered if they should tell someone, and LeighAnne still had a weird feeling about telling maxwell and elizabeth. But as that thursday turned into a friday morning Maxwell and Elizabeth were in the kitchen talking a bit secretive like. "We should at least tell her Elizabeth we can't just leave and not tell her," Maxwell said as he was against Elizabeth not wanting to tell Candace about the business trip they had that weekend. "Well it's not like shes gonna miss us very much Max, she's a teenager they are more happy when they are home alone." Candace comes walking in the kitchen goes to the fridge to get juice and stuff for her lunch, as she had school her parents get silent Candace speaks up and says, "why is everyone so silent it's like there's secrets or something." Maxwell speaks up and says, "well Candace me and your mother have a business trip to go on this weekend, for our tequila company you will be home alone for awhile." Elizabeth sighs as she rolls her eyes, she didn't think it mattered to tell Candace about their trip. Candace however had mixed emotions, she was a bit excited seeing as how her parents were leaving. She thought, "oh boy now i can have LeighAnne stay over just me and her," but she also thought "what if the stallion comes back my parents wont be here to protect me." Never the less a part of her wasn't worried, as she was into archery so she may very well be good to protect herself. But as she finished get her lunch together and talking with her parents she said, "oh please mummy and daddy go on your business trip don't worry about me i'll be just fine." Maxwell and Elizabeth believed her so they said, "alright our flight is at 10am, which you will be at school. So we shall leave you money for take out and numbers to contact us, and we will see you when we get back in town." Candace nodded as she kissed her father on the cheek, and hugged her mother, and left to meet LeighAnne to walk to school as they always do every morning since the 6th grade.
