Y/N's POV
"Hey Y/n!" Wake up sleepyhead!" Rachel said, shaking my shoulders.
"Five more minutes." I mumbled under my breath.
"We have school today, hurry up!" Rachel lightly hit me on the back of my head, scowling.
"All right, all right, I'm up." I said, sighing.
A week had passed since Rachel's family took me in. My parents had to work overseas, but I didn't want to leave my old friends. They knew Rachel's parents well, so they asked them to take care of me for a few years. I already met all of Rachel's friends, Maya, Clara, Mackenzie, and Natalie. I quickly got into my school outfit.
"Eat breakfast on the way, Y/n. We have to meet up with Maya!"
"All right." I grumbled, mouth full of pancakes.
"Hey Y/n!" Hi Rachel!" A cheerful voice called out. It was Maya, her pink hair bouncing as she jogged up to us.
"Hi Maya! How are you?" Rachel replied back. They chatted on the way to the school, and I followed silently behind.
"So, Y/n. Welcome to Seashell Bay Middle School!" Maya said. In the corner of my eye, I saw two quite attractive boys walking toward the front entrance. They looked very familiar, but I couldn't quite put a finger on it.
Before I could say anything, the bell rang and Rachel pulled me to the classroom.
"Class, please welcome three new students who just moved in. Y/N, Shane, and Tam. Your seats are over there." The teacher said, pointing to a row of seats in the back. Tam took the end, Shane took a seat to him, and I took the seat next to Shane.
The bell rang, signaling the end of class. "Time for lunch!" Maya said happily.
As soon as Maya, Clara, Rachel, Natalie, and I sat down, I heard someone snap their fingers loudly, and looked over to see a boy on the ground, unconscious, and another boy standing over him.
The boy had icy blue hair and olive eyes. There was a black heart in his hand.
"Come on, Distain! Show yourself!" Immediately, the heart transformed into a a huge book. All around us, students were panicking, running around and screaming like their life depended on it. And it most likely did.
"Ready girls?" Maya said, suddenly standing up and grinning. "Glitter Force Makeover!"
"What the-" Before I could finish my sentence, someone grabbed me by the arm and dragged me away. It was Shane.
"Listen, Y/n. You might not remember us, but try. Try to remember. Take this charm." Shane quickly said, handing a small charm. I small F/a (favorite animal) thing burst out.
"Y/n?" The animal said cautiously. A tidal wave of memories came crashing down, one after the other.

We did it! We defeated Queen Malice!
"I remember." I mumbled. How could I have forgotten this? How could I have forgotten my friends? My head was throbbing painfully.
"Good, we have no time to loose. We must help the other Glitter Force group." Tam said.
Together, we yell out, "Glitter Force Makeover!"
"I will be the one to have the final laugh. I'm Glitter Jester!" Tam shouts.
"A king protects his own. I'm Glitter King!" Shane cries out.
"A true queen needs to balance both dark and light. I'm Glitter Queen!" I yell.
"The Royal Trio!" We say as one. (I know, this is so cringe. 😀🔫 Feel free to attack me in the comments.)
We all run toward the Distain. I spot Rachel on the floor, injured, along with the other Glitter Force members. The three of us quickly assess our surroundings.
The icy haired Mercenare turns to look at us, surprise written on his face. His olive eyes rest on my e/c ones for quite a long time. He finally looks away from me, mumbling something under his breath before turning toward us again.
"Even more Glitter Brats?! Get them Distain!" He yells out in frustration.
Shane snorts loudly, Tam shakes his head, and I raise my eyebrows in amusement. We know he wasn't a match for us. I throw out my Queen card, making the Distain good again. "That was easy." I said, shrugging.
"How?! What... Who are you?!" The Mercenare spat out. "How did you do that?"
"I'm Glitter Queen. And we are the Royal Trio from Lumeneria, the world of light. We defeated Queen Malice when we were only ten, and defeated King Orcus (Orcus means death in Latin. I searched it up lol.) when we were twelve." I said swiftly.
The Mercenare stared in awe. "So your the Royal Trio. I've heard all about you. It was King Recordatio who erased your memories. (Recordatio means memory in Latin.) King Mercenare will be pleased to meet you. You may have won today, but I'll get you next time!" Before he went away, I gave him a carefree grin.
His face turned red. "I guess I'll be seeing you soon then." I said, smiling.
"So, Rachel. I guess we both have stories to share." I said, turning toward my sister.
Ira's POV
She smiled at me. What the heck?! What's wrong with me?
"Your face is red, Ira. What happened?" Marmo asked curiously. "Ooh. Did you develop a crush on somebody?" She teased, a mocking smile on her face.
"N-no I didn't! Shut up!" I yelled back, face red. "The Royal Trio is here on the planet." I said. Marmo's face went white with fear.
"The Royal Trio?!" Bel stuttered. "Those three beat three of the most powerful villains!"
"Could they possibly beat King Mercenare?" Marmo asked cautiously.
"We cannot let that happen!" A rumbly voice said.
All of us bowed before the frozen statue of King Mercenare. "The Royal Trio, huh? We'll teach them a lesson, all right. Gura, Leva, and Regina will help you with these three. We will teach them how it feels to be utterly powerless."
"Yes, King Mercenare." We all mumbled, heads bowed.
I wonder if that girl will be alright. Wait. What am I thinking?! She's a member of the Royal Trio! The leader for Pete's sake! Hm. How do I gain her trust.
I smirked evilly. I know just the thing.
