Short story 1

The sun rays peeked over the cloudy hill, illuminating the forest. The group trundled forward at a slow pace. Their boots glistened in the morning dew. Their armour glinted as they looked around the forest, their futuristic visors showing them information at an indescribable rate. Their movements seemed almost robotic. 

Suddenly they stopped, dropping to their knees, they were alert, their enhancements allowing them to hear better than any human. One of the group gestured rapidly with a subtle hostility. The rest of the group followed there orders, sneaking through the dense foliage stepping as lightly as possible. After doing this they arrived at their destination, a clearing. 

It housed a shack made of wood, moss and ivy crawled over it, creating a sense of abandonment. As the group entered they took off their visors, revealing their visages. Their eyes, holes of darkness, orbs of despair, their mouths had all been sown shut, apart from their leader.
