Kevins PoV
I woke up and sat bolt upright. I looked at my phone that was currently charging on the bedside table. It was 4:50am. Why was I up this early. "Kev what's up?" "I don't know I just woke up and I don't know." "Cone in lay back down and try and get a bit more sleep." "Ok." I lay back down and pulled the red head closer to me. "Love you stace." "Love you too kev." We both fell back asleep just listening to each other's breathing slowing down as the other dropped into a peaceful slumber.

We woke up this morning roughly ten minutes apart. We just stayed laid in bed for another half an hour talking about what we were going to do today. "We are going to your old dance school kev. I'm sure hey won't have forgotten you. We are going to get to you booked in for whatever classes you want. What did you used to do." "Ballroom and Latin." "Well cone on then sleepy head. The dance class ain't going to get booked by itself is it?" "I guess not." "Oh and remember you can't get your head wet for another couple of days." "Thanks for the reminder baby." "No problem." We both got ready for the busy day ahead and walked hand in hand down to the dance school. I was surprised to see that some of my old dance mates were still here. "Kevin Clifton?" "That's right." "And who's the lovely lady you've brought with you?" "This is my girl stacey." She gave them a small wave and grabbed my hand again. "So what brings you back kev." "Well I was wondering if I would be able to come back." "Of course you can. You and your sister were one of my best students but why aren't you at your old school. Neil and everybody haven't seen you in ages." "Ye well I've moved to Grimsby local down the road." "Oh?" "Ye." "Anyway why don't you go in and see the rest of them. There should be the old ones as it's a Saturday so they should be in there." "Thanks miss." I walked in and saw all of my old dance mates. There was Gorka, Graziano, Karen, Luba, Katya, Neil, Johannes, Anton, Aj and Nadiya. Neil walked straight up to me and stared at me in disbelief. "You came back." "Course i did. I've been dancing since I could walk. I wouldn't just forget about it." "Why haven't you been at school. We haven't seen you in years." "Well I've had to move to Grimsby local down the road." The rest of the dancers came up and stared at me just as much as Neil did. "Well who's the girl then Kev?" "My girlfriend Graziano so eyes off." They all laughed. "So come on then Kev where have you been." Luba asked. "Well umm." "Kev you don't have to." "No they deserve to know. I've left them for what three years with no explanation I think they deserve one." "Ok then baby go ahead." "So when my mum left my dad started Umm blaming it on me and then as Joanne got a bit older her as well. He started just giving us the odd slap here and there but then he would start blaming it on us. We moved schools because my dad didn't want mum to come and take us away so we moved. Just up the road but far enough so mum wouldn't find us. When Joanne turned eight and I was thirteen he started Umm r-." "Raping? No." Gorka pulled the words right out of my mouth. I nodded my head. "The police are now involved but if it was up to me they wouldn't be. See I fell and cut me head open other day so this one took me to A&E and I guess they saw the bruises. Well they had investigators in and the lot." "So that's what they were. I thought they were hickeys." Karen laughed. I had always been quite close to Karen. I lifted off my shirt but the smiles very quickly faded off if all their faces. "Come in don't die on me. He hasn't hit me in a couple of weeks cos I've moved in with Stacey. Joanne however. I can't say the same thing." "What's he done with her?" Shouted Aj. Because he was the youngest after Joanne he had always been close to her. "Well he came down to the school and beat her up yesterday. But me and stacey have been excluded for what is it stacey six week?" "Yep." "Why!?!" "Well our form teacher tried making me tell him that I was being abused but I refused so he sent me out but because the stupid twat though the bruises were hickeys he gave me four week and then Stacey just went along with it and admitted to giving me them giving her two week but then she walked out after me giving her another two week." "Well then where's the six week done from?" Anton said. "Well they caught us kissing in the corridor and gave us both another two weeks but we've technically had seven because the doctor and police gave us the rest of this week off. So a week in to school and I've been excluded for six week." I laughed. "Wait but you've been gone for three year so how comes you've only been at school for a week." Neil said. "Because Neil my dad pulled me and Joanne our and made us do all the housework and kept trying to get Joanne pregnant." "Wait what?" They all screamed at me. "Oh yeah forgot to tell anybody that. Even stace doesn't know. Sorry stace." "No problem." "You've got yourself a keeper there kev." "Definitely Gorks." I put an arm round her back and gave her a kiss on the head. "Yeah anyway because she was so young it wasn't working and because other girl stuff or whatever. After a while he gave up and just started taping us and beating us more because he then decided that that had to be a daily chore." "My god." Neil pulled me into a bro hug  but I didn't let stacey go. Soon enough it was a massive group hug and me and stacey were in the middle. Miss Wendy then walked in (the dance teacher). "So you lot have all caught up then." "Yep well they've caught up with me however I think they need to tell me some stuff. Surely some things have happened since I've been gone." "Well me and Katya are together, AJ planned to ask your sister out but you never came back and Gorka and Karen are together." "Wait AJ!" "Yes?" "You were going to ask my sister out." "Maybe. Well done Neil you've revealed my surprise." "Kevin there you go again with dad mode." "Ok stacey that is just called being a big brother." "Well maybe it is but normally you don't leave her alone. Like yesterday when you had gained consciousness again the first you said was were is Joanne and where am I? Not why am I here what's happened and where am I. It was where is Joanne." I blushed and looked at the floor. "Okay maybe I do." "Aww look Kevins gone all soft." Gorka, Graziano and AJ all laughed. "AJ you are really pushing it mate." "Sorry?" "Well I mean at least if she went out with you then I knew who it was and it wasn't just a hookup from the street." "So can I?" "Jesus mate. She hasn't seen you for three years she might not even remember any of you. Although she might remember Gorka cos she fancied him." "What? Well I'm not going to ask her out now." "I'm joking I'm joking. Don't worry you might still have a chance. Although she really had taken a liking to Giovanni right stace?" "Yep." "Wait Giovanni as in Giovanni Pernice?" "Yes Luba why?" "Because he does ballroom classes here with some others from his school. Two girls and a couple of boys I think." "Wait like dianne Janette alijaž and pasha." "Yes." Piped up Anton. "So we don't have to introduce you all then." They all smiled at me. "Well kids now that you have all caught I think we have a general vote. Who thinks we should let kevin back in?" Everyone apart from AJ stuck there hand up. "Why AJ!" Miss Wendy questioned him. "Because he won't let me go out with his sister." He laughed. "No I'm joking it would be amazing if he came back. But will Joanne be coming back." "Maybe and speaking of Joanne stace we have to go and get her from gios." "Why is she at Giovannis Kevin?" Said Karen. "Because my dad could have followed me and stacey home last night so she keeps swapping between all our gangs houses." "Can I join your gang Kev?" "AJ!" "What?" "You are really pushing it mate." They all laughed. "Anyway I'll see you all tomorrow for dance yeah? And I might bring Joanne AJ if you apologise but don't get your hopes up. She might not want to see your baby face anymore." "Hey. But I'm sorry." We all exchanged numbers and me and stacey left to go and pick Joanne up from Giovanni and Ashley's.
