In the last week, Hua of WayV has been posting pictures with an unidentifiable male. Even her own members don't know who the male is. Her counterpart, Byul who is NCT 127's female member, knows who the unidentifiable male is.
Fans suspect it is one of her friends from China when she studies there. Fans also are very angry at the fact that Hua is dating. This caused Byul to post a very passive-aggressive post on her SNS accounts.
"Hello, this is Byul here. I just wanted to let everyone know that Hua is in perfect condition FINALLY and DOES NOT need any negativity. She is like my little sister and I will protect her at all costs. She is old enough to make her own decisions on whom she hangs or not hang around with. Also, she is very well aware of what is happening and so is our lovely company. Don't hate over a screen, hate to my face.

Fans love how Byul became Hua's older sister figure within a post. Later on, Hua released an official statement.
"Hello, this is WayV's Hua. I would like to express my deepest regrets to all the fans who think I'm ruining my career over a boy. Thank you to all the fans who still support WayV and me. I will be taking a hiatus until further notice. Please still love and cherish my members of WayV. Also please still support NCT 38 even in my absence. My older members deserve the love NCTzens give to them.
