Chapter 1

Nandini is standing in front of door with milk glass ,aunties surrounded her is teasing her but she stood still.
She entered room & saw it was fully decorated for wedding night.
She saw Manik who was waiting for her.she locked door & went to him.
Manik was staring at her intensely.

N:-Manik Milk.

She handed him milk glass,Manik placed glass on table made Nandini on bed,Manik cupped her face & made her look into eyes.
Nandini raised her eyes & quickly covered her pain with blank look
Manik looked at her lovingly.

M:-baby are you ok.

N:-am fine Manik what happened to me.(fake smiling).

Manik felt her smile is fake but chuckled it thinking may be he was wrong.

M:-don't be nervous darling its not any rule that we should consummate our marriage today only,I want to make love to you not sex.I will wait for you when you want me make love to you.(kissing her forehead).

Hearing him Nandini started crying.
Manik panicked seeing her crying.

M:-what happened to you why are you crying,did I say something wrong.

Nandini got up from bed & said without looking at him.

N:-am crying out of happiness manik because I didn't thought you will understand my nervousness,am lucky to have you Manik.(in mind:- you are unlucky to have me manik).I will change my Saree & come.

Manik smiled hearing her.Nandini went washroom taking her night wear.As she closed door tears started coming out from her eyes.

N:-aah its paining so much(holding her heart) No don't love me this much manik which I can't able to give back,
Am tired of loving someone, I started hating word love,Always love gave me pain only, True love didn't except anything which I didn't got till know.
Am fool to think everyone loves me truly but everyone excepted something from me they named it as love,they broke my trust & killed my soul.Now I can't able to love anyone.

Nandini heard knock on door.

M:-Nandu are you ok ,you are in washroom for 40 mins .

N:-am ok Manik am just taking shower I will be out in 10 min.

M:-ok am just got worried.

N:-am fine manik.

Nandini took shower quickly & changed herself into her night dress.
She came outside & saw manik controlling his sleep & waiting for her.

N:-you should sleep manik your are tired from marriage functions.

M:-am waiting for you Nandu,are you ok to share bed or I should sleep on couch.

Nandini smiled at him.

N:-do you read arranged marriage stories more.

M:-how do you know.

N:-you are behaving like those husbands manik,once look at couch size & see your size,how can you fit in that so sleep on bed & am more than comfortable to sleep with my husband.

Manik smile become big,he settled himself on bed,Nandini lied on her side.

M:-Nandu can I sleep hugging you.
(Puppy face).

Nandini looked at him with small smile.

N:-(in mind) I may not love him but at least I can make him happy.

Nandini came close to him hugged him & kept her head on his chest.

N:-now happy sleep now.

Manik hugged her happily.

M:-am more than happy.

Manik slept peacefully but sleep is far away from nandu,she raised her head & saw manik sleeping peacefully.

N:-my soul died long before but still I lived for my parents who gave birth to me, now I will live for you Manik.

Next Morning
Its time for nandini to go Mumbai with manik.Nandini hugged her dadi & nani along with her cousins.
She came to her parents,her mother was about to hug her but she refused & bent down & took their blessings.
She didn't even looked at her father.
She took her brother Rishab murthy hand & pulled him aside.
She hugged him & kissed on his forehead.

N:-take care mom & dad Rishu study well,do what your heart says.

Ri:-I will miss you di.

N:-me too.

She went to manik & settled inside car .Manik took his laws blessings & sat beside nandu.
Every girl cries to leave her parents house but nandini didn't shed a tear drop.
