Chapter 7: Shenanegins

The next morning Marinette sat at the table looking at a flyer she found. Adrien walked in and kissed her on the head and went to make himself some breakfast. Alya and Nino trudged in at the same time and a couple minutes later Tikki and Plagg were in the room as well.

After a while Marinette found something she liked and said, "Hey! Why don't we go horseback riding?"

Everyone cheered at the idea and they all rushed to get ready.

- later at the stables-

"Okay so there's six of you?" The dude at the renting stand said.

Marinette nodded and handed him the money.

He grabbed it and pointed to the stables behind him, "We only have six horses at the moment. Holly, Olympus, Freedom, Trey and Morning Glory are all pretty nice but Bucky is a little jumpy today so I suggest your most experienced rides him. They're all ready and saddled for you."

The group took off and choose their horses. Nino was stuck with Bucky because he had rode once before with his parents, making him the most experienced of them all.

After they were all ready they followed the trail. They were taking a scenic route so the trail led them to a beautiful meadow on the edge of a canyon that they could walk to the edge of. When they got there they got off the horses and ate lunch. Once they were done they got back on he horses for their trek back.
That was when a rabbit ran in front of Bucky and he took off towards the edge of the cliff. When Bucky saw the edge he slammed the brakes and he was safe, but Nino wasn't, Bucky had bucked him off the stinkin cliff and he was falling down to the river below.

He screamed and Alya screamed and in a flash Tikki and Plagg were kwamis and Marinette and Adrien had yelled their transformation words.

Cat noir launched himself off he cliff and through the air to a screaming Nino. He grabbed his best friends hand and held out his suited arm.
Ladybug launched her yo yo over to them with a grunt. It wrapped around Cat Noirs arm and she yanked it back to her with all her might. The unbreakable yo yo retracted back to her, hauling the two boys back on to the ground where their girlfriends were standing. Nino ran over to Alya and hugged her tight, while ladybug helped cat noir untangle from her yo yo.

"Dudes that was close!" Nino said walking over to the two.

"Yeah! Good thing Ladybug and Cat Noir were there to help you" Alya said winking at Adrien and Marinette who laughed.

"We should probably be heading back now" Tikki said.

"Yeah we should" Marinette said checking the time.
So the friends rode home with Nino and Bucky in the middle so that he would be mostly safe for the ride home. After they dropped off the horses, they walked the rest of the way home telling about times they were most embarrassed, Marrinette had a lot of them, and surprisingly, Tikki too.

"So then when me and my chosen were racing, she tripped me and I fell off the railing and tumbled down all the way into the water, and Plagg was watching me" Tikki laughed, everyone was laughing.

When they arrived at the cabin, the girls ran upstairs to continue planning their revenge.

"So, what should we do?" Plagg asked Adrien and Nino.

"Hmmm, let's go swimming at the lake, we can tell the girls they can join us after they are doing whatever upstairs." Nino suggested.

"Good idea lets change and then go" Adrien said walking into his room.

After they had gotten ready, they told the girls and then left for the lake.

Nino was sneaking up on Adrien to tackle him right when the girls joined them. Marinette jumped in a waded quickly over to push Nino away from her cat partner.
Nino fell in the water and when he resurfaced he yelled, "Hey that's not fair!"

Marinette giggled as Adrien replied with, "Thats what happens when you mess with Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

Everyone laughed and Nino folded his arms defiantly, "Hmm. I challenge you to a duel! Alya come here you are my partner!"

As Alya waded in Nino got in his best friends face, "a duel which consists of a series of challenges that will be completed throughout this camping trip. And Tikki and Plagg will be our referees."

Adrien glared playfully at his best friend, "challenge accepted."

Plagg rubbed his hands together and walked over to the four, his grin evil as he turned to Tikki who was next to him, "this is gonna be fun."

"Ohh yeah!" Tikki said jumping up and down and clapping.

Just then, Plagg picked up Tikki, bridal style, and threw her in the water, unfortunately Tikki had grabbed ahold of his hand and he was dragged down with her. Tikki can up gasping for air and then smiled and looked around for Plagg.

"Plagg? Plaaaaaggggg!" Tikki called looking very worried.

Then, slowly Plagg came up behind Tikki and scared her, she screamed and slapped him hard across the face so that it left a red handprint mark.
Tikki gasped and said, "Oh my gosh! I'm sooooooo soooooo sooooo sorry!!"
Plagg rubbed his cheek, "Owwwww, that's gonna leave a mark for a while. I guess I deserved it though."

Marinette, Alya, Nino, And Adrien we're watching and laughing, they joined the two in the lake and totally forgot about the challenge and the revenge for the moment.

They kept messing around in the water until they saw storm clouds roll in, then they went back to the cabin and played games. It rained all night.
