The group was going out to celebrate their hard work and success in their comeback by getting ice cream. Usually, Yeosang would be excited but today, he was quiet. He sat in the back of the car, not speaking.

It's not like he would be able to speak anyways. Seonghwa and Hongjoong always sat in the front so he couldn't talk to them. Mingi and Yunho sat in the middle and had their own conversation. Jongho sat right in front of him, so it was hard for Yeosang to talk with him. Wooyoung and San were right next to him but Wooyoung had his back turned to Yeosang.

Yeosang never liked car rides. He was always alone.

He looked out the window of the car and watched the beautiful sunset. Shades of pink, orange, and yellow filled the sky. He noticed two young boys, maybe a couple years younger than him. They seemed to be having a lot of fun, running around and throwing stuff at each other. Yeosang wished he had a friendship like that. A close bond that would never break over a stupid argument or another person.

He sighed, putting in his headphones, and closed his eyes. His head rested against the window. Yeosang nearly fell asleep but Wooyoung laughed out loud.

He looked over to see what was happening, frowning. Yeosang turned away and tried not to think about their friendship. They had finally arrived, which was good because the food could distract Yeosang and take his mind off his problems.

As the group entered the store, Yeosang noticed that it was almost empty. It wasn't a big store, and they decided to go in the evening. There was a family of 3, sitting at one of the tables, eating. The young girl, maybe around 5 years old was loud.

Turning his attention away, Yeosang looked at the menu and decided on a cookie and cream ice cream with a big oreo on top. Yeosang was so excited when the server gave him his ice cream. Seonghwa noticed him and chuckled, patting Yeosang's head. Once everyone else got theirs, they all sat down at one of the tables. Yeosang stared at the back of Wooyoung's head since once again, his back was turned to him. His frown returned.

It had been a while since they talked. He couldn't even remember when they had spoken to each other alone. Everyone had been busy, but Wooyoung couldn't even say a simple little "hello" to him? Yeosang could understand why during their preparation for the comeback, but that was weeks ago. It felt like he wanted to avoid him.

"-osang"

"Yeosang?"

"Huh?" Yeosang said as he was pulled out of his thoughts. Jongho was poking him.

"We're getting more ice cream before we leave. Do you want more?" He asked.

"No thanks," Yeosang told him. "I'll wait for you in the car."

"We'll be out soon" Jongho informed him and ran off with the others. They had spent almost an hour in the shop, eating and fooling around. He didn't have an appetite anymore. Yeosang threw away his trash, grabbed his phone, and headed outside. The family of three was also leaving, so he held the door for them. The moment he opened the door, he was met with a cold, gentle breeze. It was getting chilly and he only had a thin sweater. The bright colorful sky was now replaced with a dark landscape with a crescent moon and multiple stars scattered around.

He shivered and made his way to the car. Unfortunately, the car was locked. He couldn't see any of his members or one of the staff around. Yeosang didn't want to go back inside, since he liked being outside. Jongho said they would be outside soon, after getting their ice cream. The wait wouldn't be long anyway.

Yeosang's body leaned against the car with his headphones in, playing music. He scrolled through Instagram and posted a selfie of himself on Twitter. He lost track of time when he was on his phone. A few minutes of waiting soon turned into an hour.
