"According to the map, we should reach our destination just after nightfall," Izuku said, as he gave the map he was holding another cursory glance. It distracted him from the fact he was currently alone with, in his opinion, the most attractive girl in his class. He took the opportunity to glance over to her....to notice that she was extremely close to him, looking at the map over his shoulder. His face turned bright red at the closeness.

If Mina noticed, she didn't say anything about it, instead considering her classmate's words. After a moment of silence, she smiled brightly.

"Awesome!" she said. "I'm glad you've got the map. I'd have gotten us lost by now." She chuckled at the self-depreciating joke. As hypocritical as it would have sounded, Izuku didn't like when others said things like that about themselves. Especially someone as great as Mina.

"You shouldn't sell yourself so short, Ashido," he said. "I'm sure you'd do a great job." Mina couldn't help the giggle that came out of her mouth.

"Y'know Midori, you are just too sweet sometimes," she replied. "It's really amazing how you know so well how to lift people up. And the best part? You always mean it. You truly believe what you say. And it becomes reality. Almost like you will it." Again, she took a moment to giggle as Izuku rubbed the back of his head.

"You're really good at lifting up people's spirits, too," he responded, really getting the pink girl's attention. "You're always so full of energy, always with a smile on your face. I know you'll make a great Hero one day, being there to comfort the citizens. Not to mention how powerful and versatile your Quirk is..."

He was stopped in the middle of his tirade as Mina got closer to him, wrapping her arm around his, and laying her head on his shoulder. He became flustered as he tried to come up with the words to say.

"A-Ashido! W-Why are you....?" he was met with a gentle 'shh' from Mina, as she sighed contentedly.

"This is nice," she said. "You really are a great guy, you know that?" Again, Izuku tried to form some sort of response to the girl before him, but she spoke once again. "I've always wanted to get to know you better. I think this is a pretty good time."

And so, they spoke. Izuku, for all of his flustering, was actually a really good conversationalist, and Mina enjoyed every minute they were talking. They talked about hobbies, and likes, and found out that, as different as they were, they had quite a bit more in common. She really enjoyed this side of Izuku, and wanted to see more of it.

Before they knew it, nightfall came, and they took the opportunity to look at the map again. Based on what they were looking at, they seemed to be getting closer to their destination. It kind of made Mina a little sad, something that Izuku picked up on.

"What's wrong?" he asked, more comfortable thanks to their nice conversations. Mina sighed.

"I want to do this more," she said, truthfully. "I really enjoy talking to you, and I'm afraid when this is over, things will go back to the way they were. And...I don't want that." Izuku contemplated her words for a few moments before his face settled with resolve.

"Then we will do this more often," he said. "How about this weekend? We can do something together. Just the two of us." He hadn't realized the implications of what he had said until the words were already out, and Mina had processed them.

"Like a date?" she asked, a bit hesitantly, but, to herself, hopeful. Izuku considered denying it, but...

"Yes," he said, which caused the pink skinned girl to smile broadly.

"I would very much like that." Her words were said just as they reached their destination, but they would end up having many more Night-time strolls to come.

A/N: Sorry this one is so short. Had a bit of a struggle with this one, but I hope you guys enjoy.
