"I can't believe how reckless you are all the time, Izu!" Mina said as they made another trip to the hospital. Though not as prevalent an occurrence as when they first became Pros, Izuku did tend to go overboard when it came to protecting civilians. And Mina knew that, but she was definitely worried about her husband.

"I'm sorry, Mina, but you know I couldn't just let that little kid get hurt," Izuku said, trying his best to keep from irritating the massive burn he had received from the fire villain Dabi, whom they had defeated again. Mina sighed deeply.

"I know," Mina said. "I'm just get worried when you do this to yourself." Izuku placed his uninjured hand on Mina's as they entered the Emergency Room.

"Uh oh," Izuku said when they entered. Mina looked at him confused until she looked where he was staring.

There, waiting for their arrival, was Chiyo Shujenzi, also known as the Youthful Heroine Recovery Girl. Though she was definitely getting on in age, and had spoken more than once about retirement, she was still a prevalent member of Hero Society with her healing. Of course, she was also infamous for when someone tended to draw her ire.

And right now, her ire was aimed at Izuku. Before he had time to react, he was getting hit repeatedly on the head by Recovery Girl's syringe-shaped cane.

"Did you learn nothing during your time at UA?!" she practically screamed at the young Pro. Some people had stopped what they were doing at the sight of the #1 Hero being beaten by an old woman, while the #8 Hero looked on, laughing. "You're just as bad as another #1 Hero we know!"

"I'm sorry, Recovery Girl! Please, let me explain." After a few more hits with her cane, Recovery Girl acquiesced to Izuku's request.

"We were in combat with Dabi, now that he's taken over the League of Villains after All for One and Shigaraki's deaths," Izuku started. "Everything was going fine, and I had him on the ropes. But there was a kid, a little girl, I guess she got separated from her family during the evac, and got caught up in the crossfire. Dabi saw her, and used it to his advantage, aiming a massive flame at her. I managed to grab her in time, but he managed to get me with his flames before Mina came and finished him off."

At this, Recovery Girl sighed.

"Very well," she responded. "I'll heal you this time. Come here." With her smooch, the burns slowly began to dissipate. Now, she turned her ire on Mina.

"And what were you doing out there, missy?" Mina froze. "I thought I gave you explicit orders not to do Hero work after we found out you're...."

"Recovery Girl!" Mina shouted, cutting the woman off, before lowering her voice. "I haven't told him yet." Recovery Girl again gave out a sigh, this one far more exasperated. She turned and walked off, leaving the two Heroes alone to talk.

"Told who what?" Izuku asked confused. Mina giggled.

"So oblivious," she commented. "You, silly. And, well. Let's go somewhere a little more private." She led him to a nearby vacant room.

"Okay, so please don't be mad," she said. Again, Izuku gave her a confused look. "I wasn't supposed to be doing Hero work today. Or for the next roughly 8 months. But, when I saw you battling Dabi, I just couldn't help it. I needed to fight by your side. To know you'd make it out. So, you'd be able to be there for the little one."

Realization dawned on Izuku's face.

"You're....?"

"Pregnant? Yes." she said. Tears started welling in both of their eyes. Izuku immediately took his wife into his arms.

"This is wonderful!" he said. Then, whether due to the news, or Recovery Girl's Quirk catching up to him, or both, Izuku Midoriya, the #1 Hero Deku, passed out with a smile on his face.
