chapter 4

I pulled on the cold handle , opening the car door before falling into the passenger seat. Due to lack of sleep.

I watched Gary do the same.

He started the car , and we sped off in the direction of my school.

"so ... New school huh ." he said obviously trying to make conversation with me.

"look" I said shifting my body towards him quickly.

" I don't like you , I don't want to speak to you . Just drop me off at school and pick me up layter." I said snapping at him.

I felt bad in a way but I just couldn't talk to him with out remembering.

I felt a awkward atmosphere start to fill the car, so I unlocked my phone and started to scroll through my instagram feed.

It pissed me off the way he acted so innocent , when really he was the breaking point of my family.

After an awkward and slightly long car journey , Gary pulled up in front of the school.

I quickly exited the car , before slamming the door shut behind me.

I stood still , bag pressed against my side until he drove away.

I slowly turned on my heel towards the school, a little shiver went through me rolling down my spine.

The school looked empty even though I new that for a fact it wasn't. No body was around so it was quiet , I could only hear my self breathing.

As I walked through the double doors leading into the reception.  A woman half the size of me was standing by a printer.

I walked over to her desk placing my intertwined hands down in front of me.

"Hi , I'm new " I said trying not to sound as nervous as I felt.

"hello! yes they said you would be here today!" she said turning to me excitedly. Her happy ora made me feel slightly ill.

She had one of those cheesy grins that always made you feel slightly on the depressed side of life. witch was always great.

After a minute of her pointless chatter she directed me towards the waiting room.

She told me to wait while she collected my class books and timetable.

So I passed the time by twiddling my thumbs. One thumb went over the other one repeated, and again and again.

After a while of thumb twiddling the lady scurried back into the room with a pile of books with a sheet of paper on top.

"Here , I think this is all you need " she said frowning at the stack of books she had literally dumped into my arms.

Fuck me , I thought this was going to be a lot to carry.

Not long after that a older looking man came into the room. He was sent to take me to my first lesson.

We walked around for about five minutes before we finally came to a building.  The building was slightly taller than all the others around.

He directed me towards a classroom with a porcilin brown door . And then he simply left me.

Great , i took a deep breath and as i breathed out i opened the classroom door and walked in.
