The sun shone through the curtains of me and boyfriend's shared bedroom. I'd just woken up, rolling onto my left side, being greeted by my boyfriend, Namjoon, scrolling through his twitter.
The moment I rolled over, he smiled, leaving his phone on the bedside table, and laid back down to face me.
"Hi baby," he said, leaving kisses on my forehead, then pulling me closer to his chest. I giggled at this gesture.
"Good morning, dummy," I laughed, causing him to laugh too.
"Sleep well?" He asked, running his hand through the knots in my hair. I simply rubbed my head against his chest to signal a yes. He chuckled.
"Good. Because I'm taking you out later!" I poked my head up at him, happiness plastered all over.
"Really? Thank you, baby!" I pulled him down to my level, leaving kisses on his soft lips, making him chuckle.
Mornings with him are always my favorite. Waking up with him by my side, cuddles and kisses, staring into each other's eyes, and strings of compliments falling from his mouth. Who could possibly be a better boyfriend than him?
We laid there for a while, hands intertwined, soft breathing, and giggles from time to time. It felt perfect.
Eventually, we both got up to get ready, him planning out our outfits, while I finished up with my skincare routine.
For me, he picked out a black and gray striped shirt, paired with denim jeans, a black belt, and white vans. For him, he picked out a white t-shirt, black jacket, navy green jeans, and sneakers. He looks so cute in his fit.
"Awe, my baby looks amazing," I complimented, squishing his cheeks. He whined, swatting my hands away from him, making me laugh at his child like behavior.
He proceeded to intertwine our hands, planting kisses on my both my cheeks, then spinning me around once, getting a good view on all sides of me. I giggled.
"Where are we going today?" I asked him, but he just placed a finger against my lips to shush me.
"It's a surprise. Consider it, a date," he smiled, leaning in to kiss me on the forehead. I smiled back at him, as he lead us both to the apartment door, ready to enjoy the day.
