Chapter 6

Luke's POV (you didn't expect that, did ya?)

I sat in my room, playing my guitar and basically re- thinking my whole life.

I had never really been liked in school
until one day, a special thing called puberty came into my life and hit me like a truck.

Then all of a sudden, girls think I'm the perfect slice of pizza. Yes, I made a pizza reference.

Anyway, Ellie is different from anyone that I've ever met and I like that. I'm not gonna be all sappy about it, I'll get straight to the point. I like her.

She may not be a celebrity or a penguin, but I still like her and that's all that matters. I almost jump out of my skin when Michael suddenly comes through the door.

"Do you want pepperoni or cheese pizza?" He says, phone in hand "Do I have to tell you?" "Pepperoni. Got it." I literally had to tell him that about 10 times today just for him to get it right.

"What's up? You look ticked off." he doesn't sound normal.... "Are you okay? You're not swearing at all today. You, for some reason sound like an angel and that's not normal." I said, fake checking his temperature.

" Ashton bet me that I couldn't go a day without swearing and I'm proving him wrong. That's besides the point, What's the matter ?"

I told him all about the whole thing with Ellie and how she didn't want to get hurt. I told him that I didn't think that I would hurt her and if I did I would make him beat me up.

" You got it bad man. I suggest that you get off your butt and go tell her what you said to me just a little less nervously. I know that look that you have on our face and I almost have an urge to slap it off, but just because you are a brother to me, I won't. Now, go do what I said and go get her,Tiger ." he made some sort of purring noise and pushed me out of my room.

And I did exactly what he said.
